We booked this hotel on a whim and for the low price were expecting something a bit ‘dodgy’ but we thought hey it’s only a place to sleep for one night. When we arrived we were blown away at how spacious and clean the room was it exceeded any expectations we had. The only thing that needed a bit of attention was the bathroom but everything else was perfect. We had dinner in the hotel and it was a very generous serve and the staff were very helpful. The location is also very good, train station, Big W, Cole’s and Woolies supermarkets all within a block walk-in distance. We would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom could do with a bit of a renno, I would suggest getting rid of the spa bath and using the space for a nice shower, but otherwise everything was great.

The publican Dave was an outstanding host. He was so helpful with recommendations and advice on Echuca , bike rides and restaurants. The accommodation was outstanding and so comfortable , everything you wanted was in this spacious and well appointed apartment . The location was quiet and in the centre of everything. The chef customised our food order and was such a great chef. We had the best veal scaloppini for main course and an outstanding pear dessert, totally delicious. I am definitely coming back via the train from Melbourne soon! Thank you !!

Beds are comfortable. Room size are larger than I expected. Lots of ample space for kids and group of friends. TV is also decent size for this size of room. There is also extra bed already ready to be used for the 5th person. We don't need to make request for it.

The room we had has a door connecting to the next so they can hear us when we talk louder than normal. So no privacy. The other rooms were ok though. It would have been great if group of friends should have rooms next to each other so we won't disturb other rooms.

Air conditioning was already on upon arrival, beds are very comfortable, very clean a well presented with a good amount of tea’s coffee and milk. Room was cleaned and restocked the next day. Was a great stay for me and my girls.

It was a little confusing on where reception was to check in, I ended up walking into the bar to ask staff. but it was late in the afternoon. The room had a lot of mosquitoes inside, previous guests must of had the door open for a while or something. Bug spray was in the kitchen cupboard though.

Such a large comfortable room, everything you need for a short stay. Wouldn't hesitate staying again in this amazing hotel,. All the staff were so friendly & welcoming. My sister had issues with the stairs at the station and Annette kindly drove us there. Right in the heart of Echuca everything you need is so close by, station, shops etc. Highly recommend staying here.

Just a recommendation, a rail in the shower area for elderly customers would be important due to slipping hazard. Perhaps a little more lighting in the middle of the room. Apart from these 2 observations absolutely loved staying here.

Staff and owner were very friendly and obliging.

It would have been nice to have a ramp for the wheel chair going up the kerb in the parking area and also a dedicated wider spot for room 5 it doesn't need to be a dedicated disabled spot but wider than standard parking bay marked specifically for room 5. Just an observation and potential suggestion.

Echuca has around 8 breakfast cafe's to eat at. I always go to my favourite one. Echuca is a classic historical large rural town. The Mighty Murray river is the biggest draw card, so make sure to book a 1hr river cruise. One can easily walk arounf the town and see almost everything in about an 2 hours. This gives you plenty of time to stop and enjoy any of the towns historical sites and museums.

Found nothing to dislike.

The room was enormous and clean with the airconditioning running to ensure it was nice and cool on arrival (it was a very hot day). Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was convenient

These are both minor as overall my stay was excellent. The room was a little dark and it would have been nice to have a bottle opener with the kitchenette supplies

The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to the Port of Echuca and the main street. The convenience of having dinner at the pub was a bonus, and it was a lovely meal. Great friendly service. The room was very clean and a great size for the four of us.

The place was fantastic close to everything within walking distance , nice and quiet , pub meals and drinks to your door ,staff was excellent they knocked on our door daily to see if we need anything clean towels , rubbish removed etc will be back again cheers sharon x
