This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. It is well located, just a few minutes walk from shops and a few more to the main attractions at the riverside. It is good value for money.

There was nothing negative

I met no staff as you are given a door code number before arrival. It may seem impersonal but it's a convenient way to get into your room quickly when you're tired and just want to rest. (A tip: record the four-digit code on your phone etc. If you don't have a perfect memory!) I was able to park right outside my front door. Everything was immaculately clean and the bed very comfy. It is close to town and the paddle boat rides, and within walking distance of some nice eateries. There's even a very pleasant cafe next door if you feel like breakfast or a snack. Although it's on a main road, I found it very quiet at night. The test of a motel is the question, would I go back there again? In this instance, definitely yes.

The shower was a little on the small side, and its plastic floor was rather slippery compared to traditional ceramic tiles. However, saying that, the hot water was abundant and the water pressure strong and the bathroom in general felt modern and was very clean.

Excellent location and great room. They accommodated us when we had a break down with our bikes and helped us until we arranged a tow.Great people and friendly staff .we will be staying there again

The manager/ owner was very helpful and knowlegable for the surrounding sights of Echuca. It was a very modern, clean and well presented unit. We had been allowed to enter earlier. We would book it again and are recommending this motel to other guests.

The facility was recently updated - very modern. Plenty of room. Beds really comfortable - Doona's nice and thick. Location - fabulous. Plenty of power points every where. Hooks to hang jackets etc on - everything was thought out really well. Loved the self check in and the door lock. Communications before our arrival were great. We will be back if were ever down that way again.

Shower was a bit small. Personally, I like big towels Bathroom could have a heater - we were there on some very cold days.

From booking to checking out, it was effortless. Communication was fast and kind, beds were sooo comfortable and it was perfect for our little mum and daughter stay-cation.

If I had to find something I didnt like, it would be that if you have a child who likes opening doors like mine does, the front door opens with direct view of the shower 😅 also not having a sink in the bathroom separate from the kitchenette. Felt weird doing dishes then brushing my teeth in the same place

Very nice room well set out. It's contactless, so you won't need a key, just keep the PIN on your phone. The hotel is located within walking distance to everything including supermarkets shops and the port. Mostly quiet at night time except for the occasion hoons racing down the street.

Bring your own coffee. The instant coffee is worse than international roast. They do give you one free coffee for the Cafe next door which is great. It's the most popular Cafe with the locals.

Our very first experience with contactless check-in with the entry code pre-supplied by email by motel management. We found the process quite easy with the kind assistance of available helpful staff. The recently renovated queen deluxe room was spotlessly clean, spacious, well lit with led lighting and plenty of power points. The bathroom was compact and the kitchen well stocked with necessities. Great location and a well priced renovated older style motel with adequate undercover parking on site. Breakfast available at an adjacent cafe from 6am.

The motel’s courtyard appearance could be improved with some strategically placed potted plants and changes to the colour scheme.

Convenient location, easy check in via pin number, clean room, comfortable bed

Motel is not staffed, so when we woke up in the morning and there was no running water, there was no-one to assist. Left a phone message and sent an email, but heard from no-one. Fortunately, the water came back on 30 minutes later so not a deal breaker. Never received any response so not great from a customer perspective but everything else was good.

I stayed at the High Street Hotel over a number of weeks while working in Echuca. It was walking distance to coffee shops (one next door), restaurants, bars and my place of work. It was a short walk to the historical Port of Echuca. The room was very comfortable, with some nice little touches like open hanging space, and keyless check in. The staff where always very friendly and helpful.

Short of them paying me I can think of nothing that would have made my stay here better.
