Discovered when I had arrived at my sons that I had booked the wrong park, we were supposed to be at the Victorian park as we were celebrating our granddaughter’s 18th birthday there. Not a drama with the parks, one phone call & our booking was changed to the Victorian park. Can’t thank the ladies at the NSW park, they coordinated swapping from the NSW park to the Victorian park & once we arrived I was informed we even had been upgraded in our cabin.

The cold, I was freezing the entire time & that was with the heater on.

Discovery Parks never disappoint. Lake Hume was no different. We arrived late, had a message on our app how to obtain the room key, collected a kids activity pack and found our cabin. An amazing location, great facilities. Even during winter/off season the park was fully operational, cabins super clean and tidy, staff friendly, linen clean and fresh and heating worked well. We'd love to come back in summer to visit again. Thanks for our stay.

Couldn't fault the place.

Great location, lovely staff, and attention to detail when it came to the school holidays. There is something to be said for having daily activities for children during the school holidays.

There were no clear recycling facilities or bins. I think it would be good to have both red and yellow and where possible green bins for adequate rubbish separation.

Great location with a lovely outlook. Very cosy, warm and comfortable cabin. Very basic for the price but certainly adequate for our long weekend stay.

There were not enough tea, coffee and sugar sachets for 2 people and yet there is bedding for four people. There was only a small quantity of longlife milk. I thought for the price paid, that these items would have been a basic essential.

Great kiddies park and really good pool. The views are lovely and the wildlife gets close before they startle. Great place for kids young and older.

The notice on the park said it opened at 8am but it wasn’t open until 8:30am making our granddaughter miss out on the bouncy pillow before she had to leave for school.

The aircon is very useful when it's cold outside. The lake is magical, especially during the early morning. Easy to find the place

The plates and glasses looked a bit unclean, so I decided to wash them before using them. The cafe was not working but probably because of a Public Holiday. We did not see any sign of working hours. Small windows at the bund beds were locked without any option to open.

Quite a nice room for price and great facilities

Only issue was the moths when we arrived late as light outside was on there were hundreds at the door making it hard to deal with until we flys sprayed all of inside and outside to control them otherwise for prince the place was good

Good location with nice view, simple but clean furniture, good kitchen equipment, nice double bed/pillows (the bunk bed is a bit short though). Staff is very helpful, left detailed map which was very handy for late night check in.

A small suggestion: would like to have more recycle bins.

We stayed in a Superior 2-bedroom cabin and had the most wonderful stay. It was light and bright and airy, had a great table and chairs on the deck overlooking the lake, and another large table inside (terrific for painters!) There was lots to see within walking distance and it’s a good hub if driving too. (The roads were wonderfully quiet.)

Easier access to groceries would have been good, but thankfully we had enough with us.

The location on Lake Hume outstanding. It was very quiet. Sadly on Mondays and Tuesdays the bar and cafe are not open, so a car necessary to reach the late cal shops and a fantastic pub. Ok if self catering as the cabin had everything you need. Small double bedroom and second bedroom but decent bathroom lounge and kitchen. Small balcony with lake view. This was. 2 bed economy so pleased with the whole situation.. easy parking right outside cabin

It would have been nice for the local cafe and bar to be open. Otherwise very good vfm
