We had a dinner at the hotel. We waited over one hour for our meal. I had a burger which was nice, my husband had a lamb shank that hardly had any meat on it. He’s not a big eater, but he had to eat 2 Muesli Bars when he got back to our room. We have decided to never eat in hotel restaurants again.

I was told a month ago that the lift wasn’t working. It never occurred to me that it would still be inoperable in 4 weeks time when we visited. I appreciate being given a room on the second floor, but carrying suitcases up 35 steps when you’re in your 70s is hard work.

The room was a nice size, with a comfortable sitting area and desk. The bed was comfortable with big fluffy pillows. the room had an air-con, kettle, fridge (minbar at your expense), coffee/tea/sugar/hot chocolate (free), water, glasses/mugs/spoons. The bathroom is large with soap/shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. The linen was clean and soft. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Good size pool with shallow and deep ends and a nice water feature. Plenty of tables and chairs outside. A bathroom outside so you do not need to go up to your room. There is a nice place to sit and have a drink in the restaurant area with a chess table. The restaurant had good quality food. Service was laid back and you didn't feel rushed. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

A small amount of mold in the bathroom. Service was a little slow in the quiet restaurant, the desk staff were nice. However, you need to ask every question as they don't give any, this includes asking for the Wifi password. The TV casting of the streaming service was confusing and I could not get it to work.

The room is very spacious and clean, perfect for a family and the beds are big too. Location is great as easy to find, ample parking spaces and near by city center so easy to find food and other things.

Amenities inside the room could be improved and supply important necessity such as bottles of water (instead of tap water) and facial tissue box for the room (not just toilet tissue rolls). Bar fridge needs regular cleaning.

The Mercure Albury is in a fantastic location and we always choose to stay here when we have functions. The rooms are super clean and the beds are amazing. Breakfast in the restaurant is really good as well!

Unfortunately, the lift was closed for scheduled servicing, but they happily moved us to the first floor to avoid too many stairs. We were also given a complimentary breakfast voucher as compensation.

the elevator could be repaired as it jerked and clunked when used, increasing the volume of music in the elevator did not improve the use if it if anything highlighted the fact that it was in desperate need of a service. The elevator had not been cleaned and rubbish was on the floor. The placement of the fire/smoke detectors was a problem the fact that they flashed on and off all night, not even a regular pattern was distracting when sleeping and when trying to go back to sleep in the middle of the night. i had signed the receipt for the dinner to be charged to my room and found they had split the bill in the morning - not sure why or how they did this.

Thank you so much to Renee and the rest of the staff who absolutely nailed it on Saturday. It was busy as there were weddings, concerts etc going on and they had the room cleaned and sorted so we could check in and make it to the concert on time! Thank you! Bed was comfy and clean, except the poly cotton linen wasn’t the best

Very comfortable, clean, convenient location, very friendly staff and helpful. Didn’t need to go out for dinner as they have a great chef on the premises.

Unfortunately, the two tv’s in my room weren’t working, the staff was unaware of that and tried to fix them, they needed to get a technician in the next day.

Wonderful welcoming reception and cleaners were especially professional and polite. Special shout out to the cleaner with the split dyed hair who was absolutely lovely and had great customer service. My room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned, smelling fresh and nice. I enjoyed the room with the spa bath which was A+ and much larger and deeper than the photos give justice to!! Definitely plan to stay again the next time i need a weekend away from my home town and indulge in some pampering and self care haha

The check-in process was easy. (I was late to my check in and so a key was left for me.) The hotel is easy to find. The staff are lovely and friendly. The free parking that is offered is great! I received a drink voucher for the bar - however I don't drink alcohol - perhaps a free coffee or 2 could also be great?

The room décor was very outdated. The bathroom amenities are very outdated. The bathroom taps are loose. The fridge did not work. The fridge STANK!!! The elevator is so old and makes noises that are scary. The hallways of the hotel are so boring to look at. Could do with a makeover. The outside of the hotel is great but as soon as you walk in to the hotel, it's ugly. The receptionists have the weirdest desks! Doesn't seem "hotely" to me.

The property was clean and friendly staff.

Shower was clearly a refurbished product. Tried to save money in establishing a new feel. Which was disappointing considering the expected price to stay. Great experience overall considering we were passing through. Staff were fantastic. But you could feel there frustration.
