The breakfast was very adequate and was everything you needed to get you on your way. The rooms are quite spacious and have everything needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Lovely soft pillows are a plus. Beds are quite comfortable and made for a good nights rest.Good shower with ample hot water. Parking area is accessed through a rather narrow drive. If you had anything larger than a medium sized SUV then it could be challenging. Parking bays are reasonably sized and give good access. Motel host was very pleasant and quite friendly.

To be honest, there was nothing I did not like about this place. It was clean, comfortable and offered a good nights rest. It is located right in the centre of town and close to many facilities.

The bed is massive, easily big enough to stretch out comfortably without feeling cramped. The mattress strikes the perfect balance between softness and support, making it incredibly cozy to sleep on. The sheets feel fresh and crisp, and everything is spotless, which adds to the sense of comfort. With the hard pillows and high-quality linens, it’s the kind of bed that makes you want to stay in it all day.

Upon arrival, the property was permeated by a strong odor of industrial cleaning solution, reminiscent of those commonly used in hospitals. The intensity of the smell required keeping the door open for several hours to allow it to dissipate. To enhance guest comfort, it might be worth considering a more restrained use of cleaning products to maintain freshness without overwhelming the space.

Location is a short walk from the train station and not too far from the city centre either, which is handy without a car. The room was good quality (although smallish), probably recently refurbished. Anyway, better than expected in a motel of the lower price category. Late check in was straight forward to arrange (handy when arriving on the late evening train). Breakfast was included in the price and delivered to the room in the morning at a pre-arranged time. It was basic, but usually not something expected at other country motels, so is a bonus. Many reviews complain about wifi quality but it worked perfectly in my room.

Nothing really, it's a good value for money place. Perhaps, it is worth noting that there was a bit of the car noise from the nearby busy street(s) till quite late hours. But I cannot say that my sleep was interrupted. Also, the car park is somewhat tight, but it didn't bother me as I didn't have a car on this occasion.

I liked that the breakfast was bought in on a beautifully presented tray. This was delivered early afternoon which was appreciated. Convenient to put into the fridge and get breakfast whenever you liked the next morning. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very good. I suggest caution around the hot water tap in the shower it gets a bit hot to touch. Water supply is good. Lovely size mugs for the first cup of tea especially on arrival. Tea, coffee, sugar etc provided along with milk. A good choice of toiletries provided as well. This included those in the shower and those provided near the hand basin. 2 dispensers with 3 items per dispenser. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel in the shower area and soap, hand lotion and shaving cream in the dispenser near the hand basin. Off street parking provided.

Some marks on the curtains and the ceiling in the bathroom. The carpet is a little older but was clean as was the bedding etc. The shower was a great size. As noted above the hot water tap gets hot to touch once the hot water is running.

The location was perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and the continental Brekky was delivered to the room the evening before which ment we could eat at any time without waiting for it to come to the room.

The car parking wasn’t the best. To turn around and leave the property meant you had to drive down a very narrow driveway. The motel could definately do with a freshen up and perhaps new tv’s so the basic online channels could be watched.

Best marigold hotel ever . Yes it's old but it has charm and my host was so welcoming and hospitable after such a horrible trip to get to Albury. The cleaning staff was a wonderful lady who had been there for a long time and a real trouper. It's beautiful to stay at a venue that is like so welcoming. You can stay in luxury or you can stay in a place like home or right out of a movie 🎬. It's all about how you see life. It's so close to everything. There is a laundry mate 100 yards away a great hotel on the next corner good food and awesome coffee houses 2 block walk . Train station at the top of the road at the heart of Albury at your doorstep. And the price was the best part ,even breakfast too. It's not 5star it's priceless. And a family run establishment. Loved it I felt safe and secure.

Location is great; right across from the Albury train station. friendly staff, comfortable room. Nice and clean and quite affordable.

Ran the tap in the basin for ages, but no hot water came through. Also the hand soap dispenser was empty. The fly wire on the screen door is also in need of repair. Other than that, all good. Those are only little things though so I would still definitely recommend Clifton Motel as a great place today!

I had to check in late and Mina was very accommodating. Not only did she allow me to check in late but she dropped the luggage I'd left in the morning into my room and even turned the heater on for me. There was a jug of cold water in the fridge, the room was clean and comfortable, the water was hot, and shower gel, shampoo was provided. There was a third thing in the shower too but I can't remember if it was conditioner or something else. Also the location to the train station and cbd is perfect. Thankyou very much, I'll definitely stay here on my next visit to Albury.

Location is good. Motel is old but everything works, the beds are comfortable and the aircon was powerful and easy to work. Good sized tv that was easy to use. Staff were friendly and the price included a free basic breakfast that went down a treat.

Probably best for couples on a budget and for short stays. Parking is tight. No pool may be a deal breaker for some. Ideal for traveller who just wants a basic room for the night at a good price.

This was a perfect stop over spot, easy to access from the motorway. The rooms were dated, but well provisioned and clean. Our room was quiet. Reception is open to fairly late, which was handy as we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. It was no trouble for them to help us out. The motel is a short walk from a decent pub/bistro and a large shopping mall. Breakfast was a selection of toast with spreads and cereal. You put your order in any time from check-in and they deliver it that evening before bed.
