We stayed at this motel for one night on our way to Canberra and again on our way back to Melbourne, and both experiences were fantastic! The location is perfect for a stopover, situated close to a main park where we could stretch our legs and enjoy some fresh air. What stood out the most was their pet-friendly policy. Travelling with our dog, it’s always a relief to find a motel that welcomes pets and makes the stay so comfortable. The room was clean, and well-equipped for a quick and relaxing night. It’s a great choice for anyone travelling with pets or just looking for a convenient and comfortable place to rest on a road trip. Highly recommended!

A cosy room with enough to ensure my overninght stay was relaxing, and restful. I had a reasonable meal, watched some TV and had a good sleep in the comfortable bed. This enabled me to get to the Mornington Peninsual early in the afternoon with little impact from the overight stay.

Neighbours a bit noisy at sunrise as they set off for their day. Talking loudly and banging car doors is not condusive to a good sleep. However, the room itself and the overall set up was fine.

Booked two rooms separately to accommodate 6 people and were given adjoining rooms with organised parking by a welcoming receptionist. The pool was a welcoming asset on our hot day of arrival and take away pizza from the on -site restaurant a bonus. Nice art mural noted from our windows on the lane wall opposite the north eastern units . Location was perfect for our tennis tournament

Tricky but we got there in working our air conditioning and tv remotes - and the air conditioning worked well in the sweltering heat

Allowed to have my dogs in the room with me ( max 2 dogs, must confirm with staff when booking as limited number of pet friendly rooms, $30/dog). Also easy convenient set up for after 7pm key pick up, they send you a code to open the keybox next to reception front door. Arriving at 1am was still able to park near my room. Bed comfortable. Powepoint next to bed convenient for my CPAP Machine. Box Air Con easy to use, worked well. Plenty of hot water pressure. Basic bakery cafe with espresso open early next door for breakfast. Also inexpensive italian same building, didn’t try them but would be convenient. One block from lovely Botanic gardens( note: no dogs allowed), but nice park with kid play area across the street. Has pool, but didn’t try that out. Was nice and quiet. Plenty of good cafes in the main street a few blocks away. Attractive town.

Decor is quite dated and basic. But who cares? Single power points rather than double so can’t recharge all your devices next to bed . Only reception staff till 7pm, no staff had arrived by time we left carpark at 10am.

Lovely welcome from staff, the room clean and comfortable. It's a very dog friendly motel, with a fantastic park directly across the road, including a great walk along the river. Our dog loved it. They also gave us a printed sheet of dog friendly cafes and restaurants as well as the addresses of nearby dog parks. Highly recommend the Hume Inn for dog lovers and owners.

Totally recommend the little restaurant at the front of the Hotel, So lovely to have a cool beverage with a meal, then a walk across the park to the Big mighty Murray River. Great communication with text message regarding arrival collecting key after reception hours.

Compared to other hotels while travelling to Byron Bay, price was overpriced by $50. If a bit cheaper I would consider staying again.

A very comfortable and spacious room. One of the best dog friendly motels we've stayed in. Will definitely stay again. Close to the dog park.

The toilet was leaking and there was a pool of water at the base. They did come when we mentioned it but it was Sunday evening so we didn't expect it to be fixed. They gave us extra towels to soak up the water. It really wasn't problem.

Both the room itself and the bathroom were large and clean. Better than expected. Rom had air conditioning, the bed was comfortable. Recommended if youre looking for a budget room. Staff were helpful over the phone re: late check in, which went flawlessly.

Nothing. Great value for money. Only thing i could say is the bed linen is dated and the bathroom fan was really loud but the room was excellent value.

Staff were very accommodating when l called to say l was running late. Late arrival key was easy to access with information sent to my phone. The room was lovely and warm when l arrived. The hotel is opposite a river side park which was great for a dog walk.

The bathroom could benefit from a heater although the air-conditioned bedroom makes up for that.
