We had a wonderful stay at Elm Court Motel! From the moment we arrived, the owners, Danny and Jenny, made us feel incredibly welcome. The main building has a lovely vintage charm. Despite the classic exterior, the rooms were spotless, with clean bed sheets and all the essentials thoughtfully provided. Room was pre-heated on a freezing, windy day.They even supplied fresh milk for coffee. Elm Court Motel is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve been staying at this Motel for many years as part way between southern Victoria to Sydney. It is a most convenient and lovely motel - well located in CBD with restaurants close by. We also can have our little Shih Tzu dog staying with us. Perfect. The new owners have repainted and cleaned all rooms perfectly. This is an older style motel but most adequate.

The location was excellent for an overnight stay, close to the main street, yet away from traffic noise. We always stay at the Elm Court Motel when we come through Albury, as the room is comfortable, there are basic kitchen facilities, and the bathroom is spacious enough for 2.

There were pieces of old fittings left behind in the bathroom. Perhaps they could be removed and made good with some spack filler and a lick of paint.

The hotel rooms were located at the back of reception in a quiet quadrangle. Parking was easy, located right at the hotel room. The older style room was clean with all required amenities - kettle, fridge, toaster, coffee/tea etc., shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels etc. Comfortable bed and great tv reception.

The manager greeted us with a warm welcome, and the room was so lovely to walk into a fresh, clean room. We have travelled from Port Stephens to Great Ocean road and back, and this motel is one of the best we have stayed in. There is a kitchen that has everything for you to use and the dining room, too, at no extra cost. What more can you ask for? It's suitable for one person to stay or a family too. Have your own table outside your room to sit and enjoy the rest from travelling and a lovely cuppa. The room has air-conditioning for all weather and free tea n coffee. Everything is modern and lovely artwork on walls too. I would recommend this motel for anyone who travels to Goulburn. Thank you, Black sheep motel, for the best stay on my way holiday. No stress booking this motel either. You made my day, and you deserve 5 stars

Nothing at all

Clean, comfortable beds, good value for money.

The only downside was that a very noisy blower and an electric hedge cutter were being used for 4 hours (literally 2pm - 6pm) one day during our stay, the noise was unbearable and unfortunately No communication from Staff regarding the works and the noise, it was very excessive for a few branches from small trees and using the blower to go through the whole property (surely a weekday would have been better for all that noise when there is less guests) Unfortunately a bit of a downer but a great stay otherwise.

Location ideal. Walking distance to beautiful cafe's & Childrens Botanical Gardens. Also McDonalds & Hungry Jack's are 30 Second walk.

Sometimes the pool gate / door was wide open (does not self close). My 5 year old could have wandered into ground level pool on her own if unsupervised.

Very handy location, walking distance to cafe's restaurants, the Botanic Gardens (and Insight Private Hospital - the reason for our visit) . We find it a quiet location and the room size suits us. Our go to when we visit Albury. Friendly and accommodating staff.

We found the bed a bit firm this time. The pillows were great.

The Elm is just lovely with the location in terms of proxinity to town and restaurants, coffee shops etc. However the welcoming staff and a request to leave my car for two nights was really appreciated. Over both nights 2 great sleeps. Also the pool and spa both a bonus ! I ll be back..

The location was excellent, just off of the main street in Albury. The facilities were clean and exactly like their pictures. The beds were a little hard for my taste but were neat, clean and tidy and everything else was exceptional.
