Great value for money motel! Our room had a large balcony with beach and ocean views and a table and chairs. The room itself was larger than average, with lounge chairs, and a dining table and chairs. The bed was super comfortable. All the usual motel kitchen appliances were there and the bathroom included a bath. Everything was clean and everything worked. Check in and check out was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The motel is right in the heart of town and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

The location of the hotel is superb where it is close to shops , cafes , restaurants, public bath and facing the beach . The room is spacious , perfect for couple for a getaway as it comes with a kitchen , a balcony facing the ocean . The bed is pretty comfortable .

The bathroom is a bit aged and it will be great to have a sign on the entrance for the rooms as the entrance to the rooms are on the side of the hotel and easy to miss .

The receptionist when we arrived on Sunday. Unfriendly, barely spoke a word. Not who you want greeting your guests really. The only reason I rated it a bit higher was the receptionist when I checked out on Tuesday. She was lovely

Nice reception person who was very helpful . Location is perfect and views are GREAT if you have a room at the front of the motel. good level of house keeping and very comfortable rooms.

Challenge with the balconies is they allow people to smoke and as they are all connected and simply separated by a sheet of canvas you have to endure your neighbours smoke and we had smokers on each side of us.

Location, parking, views, value for money.

Couldn't open the balcony door from the inside. Had wanted to sit out and have a coffee with the view. Also the bathroom was so small and cramped. Bath only just worth putting in there. Would have been better just with a shower. Small cosmetic updates needed to room, especially bathroom and kitchenette.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sandridge Motel. The best place ever during Easter holiday secure parking as it was packed during easter. Very convinient everything you will ever need is just around the corner the beautiful beach, cafes and other shops. The reception lady was a bonus as she was very helpful in every way and made our stay extra special. We are looking forward to spend our next holiday back at Lorne and stay at the very same property. Maybe upgrade rooms and bathrooms.

We are multiple return visitors. Seeing the waves & sunrise from the comfort of your bed/balcony is simply fantastic. Watching the goinfs on in three street and having all manner of food and coffee at your fingertips is fabulous too.

Bit noisy being right at the street, but you can't have it all, or book a room further back (up) that still has the beach view.

The motel is located in the center of the town, right across the street from the beach, convenient for local restaurants and shops and nevertheless surprisingly quiet at night. Each room has an assigned secure off-street parking space. Our room on the top floor had a furnished balcony and a nice ocean view across the road. Rooms in this motel are small but functional, with microwave, big TV, a good-size fridge, tea/coffee, cutlery, champagne glasses, abundant plugs and good wi-fi connection. The bed was comfortable with crispy linen and nice pillows. The lady at reception was friendly and efficient. This is definitely an old-style motel but clean, safe and comfortable.

A bit dated, could use some remodeling

Check in and overall experience were great, clean, comfortable and great location. The apartment came with a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster - for additional snacks and cups of tea. Additional laundry for guests was handy.

Having a full kitchen would've been handy but considering the location and size of the apartments it's understandable.

Property was amazing and breathtaking for the weekend away that my partner and I had. The incredible customer service that we received from the owners as well as being upgraded. Is to be honest the best customer service experienced I have received in using accommodation. Was made to be feel like I’m one of the family as well so warmly welcomed and looked after.
