Prompt woth house keeping Lady at bar with coloured hair was very lovely and accommodating

One of the elderly male staff at the bar was not very good with service. I walked in to get lunch one day and stood at the counter while he was on his phone I waited and was not going to yell out as its not the customers job to do that. The service person is meant to greet the customer and come uo to them so I stood there and then ended up walking put as he never came and served me. It's not that hard to see that a customer is standing at your desk ...

The staff at te sports bar and bistro are amazing, so kind and polite and attentive. Daniel and Narissa made it all the more special. The food was generally nice too, coffee was very good. Lots to do around the place, pokies, sports, food, fun, drinks. Shopping plaza close by too. Aircon in room was very pleasing.

The rooms is big enough but the bathroom looked like it could do with repairs and paint. If you are a light sleeper the traffic might keep you awake. The area outside the rooms could also do with a lick of paint, it is functional but does not look great. Again, repairs and paint would make all the difference.

Helpful and pleasant staff, comfortable bed, all clean. Great bistro with nice food and good selection to choose from.

As visitors from rural new zealand I think we didnt really have a clue where we were. On arrival in melbourne we stayed at Ciloms Airport motel (which we didnt like much) and asked Google to locate accommodation closer to Mernda/Doreen where family live. I dont think meadow inn was much closer but we are glad to have stayed anyway!

The staff were great people, quite laid back and willing to have a chat. Great choice if you're picking someone up or dropping them off from the airport early in the morning. Comfy beds too, which was a plus as I could sleep through the noise of the peak hour traffic given I was comfortable at least.

Nothing specifically comes to mind personally. I mean, the place is a bit outdated but by the same token, it was reminiscent. It reminded me of Nan's place, which I didn't mind too much. I imagine some others would have a sook about it though.

Great Bistro, we had a very good meal in front of the fireplace (fake gas but nice) Motel room was great for the price. On the lower levels a large brick wall blocked most of the traffic noise. The staff were very helpful and friendly. After asking we got to have a late checkout at 11am.

I don't know if it was just our room, but the shower pressure was poor and took a long time to get hot. The shower was ok otherwise. TV might have been one of the first LG LCD TV's made. It'd be great if motels would update their TV's so Airplay was an option. That's a bit of an ask though, quite an investment.

Was close to my Fawkner Bingo and West Side Bingo(Sunshine) I had an air conditioner for Easter weekend hope to go back there in the future.

Wasn't much to dislike other than the bed was hard and I slept on top of the covers due to taking own blankets was a home away from home.

It's close to the train directly into the city, the staff were fantastic and knowledgeable, the cleaners came daily and made sure we had enough of everything. For the price we paid it was fantastic.

The tv channels kept on the blink and couldn't watch a tv show, the internet we couldn't connect to but we just used phones to tether

Good value for money. Clean room, comfortable bed. Well located for families travelling to attend a funeral at Fawkner cemetery and Northern Metropolitan lawn cemetery. Hotel provides platters and bar tab for funeral wakes.

Bathroom clean but dated (circa 1970’s). Traffic noise rather loud but not too bad especially if you are tired and can’t sleep through it.

Very helpful staff that was more then happy to accomodate my stay room service and close to shops so was very happy about that

The small coffee cups if can have option on have larger cups when you book i recon that would be more helpful to stayers

We only stayed here for one evening before our flights back to Brisbane from Taylor Swift but I wanted to be closer to the airport before our 5am flight but it was a lovely little stay. The bed was super comfortable, which we absolutely loved! The staff were all super lovely as well and I wish we had stayed another night here :)
