I've stayed at Essendon Motel several times and have always been happy with my stay. Reception/management staff are always lovely and accommodating, The building itself is a little older but what youd expect for the price, which is also very reasonable. Nice big digital tv and split system works perfectly as did everything else. My room was tidy and spacious, beds was comfy, secure car park and suprisingly quiet even though its located on a main road. DFO shopping complex is roughly 15 min walk minute walk, Melbourne Airport is a 15 min drive! Would happily stay again

Nice big room. Room to spread out without getting squished. Nice sized wardrobe. Long desk, large bathroom. I was expecting one bed. But got two queens. Love the fish tank in the lobby. The price! Loved the price.

Toilet was broken. Functional but broken. It was dated but I wasn’t expecting anything new. As it was clean and tidy. Parking was a little tight. A lot of angles to negotiate. Thankfully we drove the small car. Would have been a nightmare in the family car.

The family room was very spacious Beds were comfy Room was massive Long benches Heater was warm Close to our function location Good value for money Shower was great If people not happy just book a 5 star hotel then you won’t have nothing to complain otherwise we loved it

Unfortunately we moved the bed to find our car keys but there was rubbish under the bed. That strong carpet wet/dry smell. But otherwise, it was okay and liveable

Had a great stay at this motel! The room was very clean and well-maintained. Excellent location—close to the airport and outlet stores, with convenient transportation options. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The beds were really comfy. We slept very well even though the Essendon Airport is close by. Didn't hear a thing at night.

There were some "neighbors" who were blocking the walkway and they waited until the very last minute to move their legs like it was us who were in the way, lol.

Because we turned up 2 hours before expected. The staff were amazing. My son needed to lay down as he'd been at work that morning 4am till 3.30. All good.

It was all fine. We did report the leak in shower as flooded. But we mopped it up. Thankyou for our stay. We'll do it again.

The Motel was old and daggy, but absolutely fine for our needs and at a acceptable budget in a good location. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

There were a couple of small problems with the room when I arrived, but they were fixed promptly. The bed was comfortable, and although a little dated, the room was clean and well appointed. A much larger room than I booked also. I would stay again.

Many stairs, and no mention of them upon booking. Airport noise, although that was to be expected, and I didn't hear it after the first night. No drop box for key (and I wasn't going back up the stairs again to put it in the room).
