The location felt like it was the centre on Melbourne. The rooms were clean, spacious and the king size bed was great to see in a studio room. The daily housing keeping was fantastic to have made things so much easier and tidy.

The breakfast buffet was good but could be improved with more fresh fruit selection, cook to order options I.e omelettes selection. Parking was good with a $10.50 per day but I believe it should be free because it’s in house parking without a valet service. This options would have been great to have specifically on those wet, windy and rainy days we had on our stay.

We loved the hotel, the room and the customer service from the moment we stepped in especially when we arrived we were welcomed by manager Gareth, who was very professional, helpful, friendly and was there to assist our needs to the very end of our stay. We were also serviced by Karen when we had dinner, who not only took our order but took the time to get to know us and had a friendly chat with us. We were also surprised with a lovely desert in our room to celebrate our 15-year anniversary. We definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends. As it also had Halal food to cater our requirements.

Didn't mind the breakfast. Just a bit more variety in the future would be good.

Very friendly staff, super comfy bed, spacious rooms. Perfect location for my needs with DFO and nearby supermarkets.

If I had to be super picky, the wait for my room service dinner was a bit longer than I’d hoped but it does give a disclaimer that the wait could be up to an hour so first world problems that I was getting hangry but I do feel that a longer wait could have been communicated so I knew instead of just wondering if I’d have a short or long wait. The food was delicious when it arrived though so it was worth the wait.

Clean and great location.

Wedding party noise kept us up. Rang to ask if there was another room to move to but was told none available in our price bracket. Was disappointed that was not offered a complimentary upgrade to a vacant room since the noise was quite unreasonable. Next morning new front desk clerk offered us complimentary breakfast but we were on a tight schedule so had to go. A shame we had to just put up with noise till midnight.

This property truly pays attention to detail. They always place me in a room in a similar location in the building even though the floor may be different. Sometimes I’m convinced that always in the same room (which wouldn’t be possible/likely). However….their attention to detail/consideration always makes me feel like it is a home away from home. Fantastic staff , great location, fantastic amenities. Cannot rate highly enough. Looking fwd to next visit already!!

Clean and comfortable

The breakfast was totally understaffed. The poor girl at the bar was run off her feet with little help at all from those at the front desk. They even sent my friend to pay her bill through that that woman when they were not busy. One man was collecting the dirty dishes even though he wasn’t part of the usual staff there. That woman behind the bar needs to be commended- she took it all in her stride and didn’t lose her cool.

Staffs were accomodating, we’re able to check in early, very good location. Rooms were comfy . No hassles.

Excellent location and staff. The hotel was clean and the stay was pleasant. City view and the view of the Essendon fields airport were nice.

Parking could be free. Complimentary welcome drink would be a plus. Luggage racks inside the room would be an added benefit especially the hotel is near to MEL airport. Black Team bags and normal/ brown sugar sachets would be great. It has all equal brand sweeteners. Keep a handwash near washbasin.

Art installations on every floor, super large bathroom was the nicest we have ever enjoyed in a hotel stay. Freestanding bath, walk in shower and 2 basins with a long bench meant there was plenty of room for the family ablutions. Staff were lovely.

Sofa bed mattress was so thin even the kids couldn’t get comfortable and ended up sleeping together in the other queen bed. No coffee machine was puzzling for a high end hotel

Very clean and modern. Rooms were so spacious with plenty of room to stretch out. Great location close to the city 10-20 min from all the big attractions which was nice! Amazing value for money. The breakfast was a favourite for us. All of the staff were so lovely and welcoming. They would all stop and say hello to our little one too. The chefs were so friendly too! After coming back from the Taylor concert, they were vacuuming and mopping the lobby and they stopped vacuuming and mopping to welcome me back in and have it “quiet” which was such a lovely gesture other hotels don’t think of. Also the rooms were so quiet. For a hotel that was busy this weekend we heard no one coming or going! We usually stay in the centre of Melbourne when we travel but this is definitely our new go to! Can’t wait to come back soon!
