I liked the location and how quiet it was. The room was well set out and comfortable and clean. There was a communal kitchen on the deck which I thought was a great idea and a lounge and fire pit area as well.

I would have liked the River area a bit more inviting to sit by, eg Seats in slightly better position with no long grass underneath. There was a hammock that would have been fantastic to use if in good condition. The Large Gardens in general were great with just the one in front of my unit needing a bit of TLC.

The room is actually much better than motel’s photos, it is new and clean. Motel need update photos for who still doubt to book. Bed is good with electric blanket, shower pressure is good, TV with Netflix. Self check-in late is easy. We arrive so late around 11 pm, but they already leave heater on for us, such a warm welcome. Microwave not in the room, but just few steps to bbq area. Highly recommend.

Nothing at all

The setting and land area in which this motel complex is situated bodes well for its future success. The owners are obviously working hard in updating rooms and facilities and it works!

We did not meet the owner/operators however this did not create problems in room access or enjoying amenity. It is a busy time of year for the hospitality industry so attention to ensuring reception is staffed at times indicated would be advised - as we have hospitality industry experience, we would have enjoyed personally thanking our hosts and encouraging them in their endeavors.

Fresh room, comfortable bed, great aircon (it was hot). We liked the bbq facility and eating area outdoors with a great view. We were also able to do some laundry which was very helpful. Lovely location also.

We would have loved to have had a swim in the river but it was too awkward - no level entry to get in or out and the small beach area was roped off.

Great little budget motel. The rooms were spacious, very clean with a nice view of Mount Buffalo. Lovely fluffy towels and bathroom supplies.

The motel is about 2km out of Porepunkah, about a 20min flat walk or 3 minute drive. There are no other facilities at the motel, so a good, reasonably priced base to go out and explore the area.

It was a vey busy weekend so plenty of visitors. We and our family camping nearby enjoyed our stay.

The flies were a pain but we were pleased you provided a spray to keep them in check.

Set in beautiful gardens and surrounds. Loved the large and comfy room and the extra touches put into things like the Christmas decorations, towels and beautifully draped and arranged bed linen. Even the toilet roll was folded into an animal shape and there were slippers to take and use. In our month long road trip, this is our pick for BEST accommodation. Staff are friendly and thoughtful, pre cooling the room on a hot day. Just loved it. We'll be back!

Absolutely nothing. Loved it all.

The room was clean and not long repainted. Had everything we needed. Although a microwave would have been handy as by the time we drove back from Bright our pizza was just about cold. The outdoor garden area with a fire pit was awesome.

The lights in the garden /fire pit area were not on or working.

This is a perfect place to stay with family’s or partner, it was just a fervent spot away from all the hustle and bustle and the management really looked after us. Will go back again for sure .

I like all of it , it’s a little outdated but super clean and great quiet location.

Lovely location and warm and obliging staff. We had chosen a king room but on arrival, we found the bed too soft for our personal taste. The staff were trying to manage a lightening strike that had temporarily taken out the local area’s internet when we asked the beautiful manager if there was another bed option. She and one of the friendly cleaning staff were only too happy to assist us in changing to a more suitable bed for us. They made up another room while we went on a bike ride and it was all beautifully presented when we returned. Both my partner and I would like to say thanks. We have now stayed at the Buffalo Motel twice and will definitely do so again if we are back in Porepunkah.
