Our first night we were in room 4 and this was fantastic. It was ground floor and closer to the road rather than the outdoor bar/restaurant so was very quiet. Fantastic shower too! Great location and well priced rooms.

Our second night we were in room 23. This was upstairs and close to the outdoor bar/restaurant. We were warned of the noise but told that staff would keep it under control. We were kept awake until 11.30pm with rowdy people and it just wasn’t enjoyable at all. The tv also wouldn’t connect to the internet in this room so there was essentially no tv in this room. The staff seemed untrained.. we asked to book a second night and it took 30 minutes and multiple staff to try and figure it out and in the end we were somehow booked in two different rooms for the same night so we were overcharged. We were refunded which was great but it was just a bit more difficult than it needed to be.

Clean n tidy, loved the night staff.. there was a male staff who was serving in bar and reception area wearing a black tshirt on the night of 12th July till late. I don’t know his name but he was outstanding with his customer service. He went beyond to help us when we were locked out of the room in night. My son spilled crackers all over the room and he nicely came and cleaned the whole room with a happy face. You definitely need to have more staff who make their guest stay special and wanting to return.

Friendly staff, very clean room, comfy bed and pillows (hard mattress but that's what I like!) Small room but more than enough for sleeping and resting. Very close to everything in town. Good price compared to other prices in town in their peak season. Would definitely stay again!

It didn't effect us but note that you are not allowed to cook anything at all in the rooms. Boiling the kettle for water is the only thing allowed. There is lots of food within walking distance.

I liked the location and the cleanliness of the premises. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was serviced appropriately. Parking was adequate, though we were staying during the early part of the week.

The beds weren’t all that comfortable and the close quarters for us all made it difficult to manoeuvre around the room - particularly as one member of our party has some mobility issues. Given we spent most of our time visiting family this wasn’t a huge problem, but it did mean we limited the time we spent in the room.

The location is excellent, being in the heart of Bright. The room was very clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable. The staff in the Hotel /Motel were excellent. Bright would have to be one of the top places to visit with so much natural beauty. The local council has done a remarkable job in the riverside facilities, it is a child's dream come true with the various fun attractions such as the river bathing area and all of the fun things to do.

It took a while to get used to the night noise caused by the Hotel fans/ air conditioning. We were on the second floor of the Motel section and right in line for the noise during the night coming from the Hotel section. After the first night we slept better as we got used to the switching on or off of the fans. The TV in the room is far too small and hard to see the subtitles for the news programs. The wall can take a much larger TV screen.

Hotel was right in the centre of town near everything you needed. Easy walk to everywhere. Our room was downstairs and had a balcony to sit and watch Barnard street walk by. Clean, tidy, cleaned daily.

Room was very dark and last room and hidden under a stairwell. No natural light. Very noisy in at night or in the mornings as our room was right on the street. Hotel is next to the pub so crowds are loud on occasions.

The rooms were comfortable for our two night stay. Everything was extremely clean and neat, coffee station was very well stocked. Check in was easy and there was ample parking. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was great. Considering the amount of people staying at the hotel, it was very quiet overnight.

We would have appreciated 3 chairs for the 3 people we booked for and knives and forks would be an added bonus.

Right in centre of town. Close walk to restaurants, cafes and shops. Easy to find and access. Newly renovated- fresh and clean.

Walls very ‘thin’ - noise travelled easily, which we were very aware of with a toddler. Rooms cozy - suited one night stopover, place just to sleep. Parking was easy - two areas for parking, one felt more like a driveway, so lines would have made it clearer as to where cars could park.

- the stay was for 3 adults heading to Mystic MTB Park - the staff were welcoming and pleasant on check in offering knowledge of where to explore, eat and drink. - Really great location in the very centre of town within waking distance of every Cafe, restaurant and bar 👌 - Recently renovated bathroom was a good size, great water pressure, great shower cleaned us up from a day on Mystic MTB Park and got its ready for the next day.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Great location very convenient. Rooms are clean. The pub downstair was super noisy because we stayed on Friday and Saturday nights but we've already expected that after reading previous reviews. Surprisingly, it did not bother us much, we all had good sleep. ps. The noise was from both people drinking and shouting and loud speaker music. So if you are sensitive to loud noises, may be pick other places to stay.

We travel by bus and the hotel do not have a locker room where we can leave our luggage. The staff was nice though, he suggested we put the luggage around a corner where not so many people walk pass.
