1 km from city centre. Close to Bright Memorial Arboretum, Morse Creek. If you don’t have a car this is a 30 minute walk to the city for restaurants or eateries. Accessible by Vline. Clean rooms, ready on time. Only continental for complimentary breakfast - oats, chia pudding, toast, cereal same thing every morning. Rooms in the front have a common balcony which is not my thing. No curtains only blinds which is a big disadvantage- you have a common balcony, and no curtains you’re apparently throwing privacy out of that balcony - less rating only for this. TV was not supporting even SBS channels.

Great and location and wonderful ski rental / snow chain company right there. Dinner was a great experience and having a lounge are to connect with other families was nice

Breakfast could open at 7AM to help people who need to head up the mountain earlier Sometimes can hear other guests washroom facilities from your room - not a big deal. Cleaning staff forgot to restock conditioner 2nd and 3rd night. I wish the lounge room was a bit more set up w sofas or a working TV to allow a more relaxed atmosphere- we brought our own cards and set up the chairs ourselves.

Breakfast was included, just a continental breakfast (cereal, yoghurt, fruit, and a selection of breads to toast), but you can also order and pay for a cooked breakfast if you wish. Close to the river for walks and not too far to walk into town if you're a walker... about 20 mins or so. Thanks to the chef for cooking an amazing buffet the other night for a coach group, and we were able to join in for a moderate cost. There's also a comfy bar, or you can sit outside around the pool to have a grown-up drink or 2

It's a pity our room was upstairs... unfortunately, as you get older, going up and down stairs aren't as easy as they once were. I had a fall down a step at the beginning of the year and broke my arm so I now struggle with stairs and feel a bit wary. But it's only a minor issue

Location is great. Awesome breakfast and nice staff. They have partner ski hire shop which is convenient if you want to hire ski stuff. Overall, it was a nice stay at Bright Chalet.

The shower door in the bathroom doesn’t close so there’s water leaking outside the shower area. Soap bar seemed old and shampoo/conditioner weren’t sealed so i bet they didnt change them. The ski hire shop beside the hotel were understaffed so the waiting time was long. Waited for an hour even though there were only 5 groups in front of us.

Awesome location, great super friendly staff. Comes with continental breakfast, great for those trying to save a buck. Super cheap nightly accommodation with everything you need to kick back after a days riding.

The only things that didn’t like was the shower when running would make bath mat soaking wet if you had it down. Also the beds were on wheels and you couldn’t lock them, so moved around a little bit.

Bed was super comfy. Staff were excellent and welcoming. Breakfast included was a great addition and options included (continental) were adequate -- for extras there was a paid option

Nothing I didn't like, but am not sure if parking capacity was sufficient for when the chalet is full at capacity. Also, I didn't notice the gear drying or storing facilities (e.g. after skiing), but I wasn't really looking for it. I would advise to check with the property if that is a must for potential guests

The staff were amazing! Especially Amy, who went above and beyond for us when the TV couldn't get picture. She arranged a new TV for the room. Also a shout out the the man who came up and installed the TV in the evening. The gent who serves the breakfast shift is a real hoot and brightened our mornings.

Only real downside was the WiFi was not working.

Rooms were decent sized, warm, clean, and beds were comfortable. It’s in a nice location with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Breakfast range was minimal but good enough - toast, cereal and yoghurt.

There was a big hole in the wall in our room, not sure why they didn’t put us in a different room until it’s fixed. TV remote hardly worked.

Beds were comfy. Place was quiet although I found the rooms bar fridge a bit loud at night. (I’m sensitive to bar fridge noise at night.) Hot brekkie choices were excellent & yummy.

Bar fridge was noisy at night. Pool water was too cold. Dinner menu v limited & in my opinion, overpriced, apart from the pizzas. Breakfast time not long enough. It should go till 10.

A big thank you to the staff! They were super friendly and helpful. When our 2-year old daughter decided to go inside the bathroom and locked herself (like toddlers like to do at 7am), they helped us "rescue" her. At breakfast they were always very friendly. A big thank you to theml! :) The chalet was nice and charmful. The breakfast was good (continental).
