The Manager was so nice and friendly and polite. The light above the bed didn't work and when I told her she fixed it straight away. Our bed was a little hard and when i asked her if I could have a mattress topper to make it softer, she was more than happy to give me one. The heater was brilliant, the shower had great pressure and was lovely and hot. The bathroom was clean and tidy with plenty of towels and toilet paper.

The TV was not a smart TV, so we weren't able to access our NETFLIX account or any other apps which was disappointing. There was no microwave. The toaster lead didn't reach the power point from the bench, so we had to put it on a chair. Outside there was no under cover areas to sit in the garden and avoid the rain.

If you roll into Mount Beauty Motor Inn expecting valet parking, a rooftop cocktail lounge, and a swim-up bar – you’re going to have a truly sobering time. However, if you come here expecting exactly what it says on the tin – a motor inn – prepare to have your socks knocked off (and placed neatly by a spotlessly clean shower). The service? Exceptional. The communication? Better than most five-star hotels (and delivered without the pretension). The cleanliness? Frankly suspicious for a motor inn. Beds are comfy, facilities are simple yet sufficient, and everything just works. No drama, no dust bunnies, just good honest accommodation that raises the bar well above “place to crash” territory.

Nothing to mention

We stayed overnight for the weekend. The host (Whitney) was fantastic, making sure everything we needed were taken care of! The room was cozy, compact and pristine clean. There is extra cutlery, serveware and kitchen towel kept in the room, in case you brought food from outside. We saw plenty of autumn colours around Mt Beauty, and the experience was memorable. Even the nature views just outside the inn is scenic. Would recommend staying here if you are coming to Mount Beauty.

The split aircon was making the room too hot to sleep in the night. Even with low temp set up, we kept waking up at different times to adjust the room temperature.

Great communication about arrival information, bed very comfortable and nice linen, bathroom clean and modern, lots of hot water, nice towels and toiletries. Twinings tea bags and a bonus coffee bag was a nice touch. There was a toaster in the room and also bowls plates and cutlery for you to make your own breakfast if you took supplies or bought something from the local supermarket. (Check opening hours of things in town if you are going to need them as you must remember it is a small town and depending on when you are travelling might not be open as you are used to). Room was nice and quiet even though it is near the main road (it is Mount Beauty so you aren't going to be kept awake by traffic all night) We were on a motorbike and it is a very convenient stop on the great roads of the high country. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others

Nothing I didn't like but if I had to choose one thing it would have been nice to have a dim bedside lamp

Toaster kettle cutlery plates glasses and a fridge for provisions. Close to local supermarket, restaurants, take aways. Host Whitney was terrific, helpful, cheerful and accessible. Native animals wombats, kangaroos, snakes, kookaburra . Spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Lack of WiFi. Signal very weak or non existent. Kept dropping out unless in bathroom area. Over 4 day stay it was very frustrating.

This is a classic Australian country motel. You park right in front of the room. The room was small but more than adequate with a very comfortable bed. The room was clean, warm and quiet. It had a good sized, clean bathroom with an excellent shower. The motel is right in the centre of town and close to the brewery. Easy check-in and out via SMS from the manager.

The free WiFi was temperamental

Great location, very comfortable beds. Bright, clean rooms. It had plenty of storage and we were travelling with 2 bikes and a big car fridge. We would most definitely stay again.

The only down side was there was no microwave. We arrived New Year’s Day and had brought food with us as we didn’t know what would be open. As it turned out the local Foodworks was closed and we had to go looking where we could get dinner.

Well presented and clean. Good reverse cycle heating. Reasonably quiet with little traffic at night. Close to shops during the day. Minifridge, cutlery and bowls provided.

Noise levels will depend on neighbors as windows and doors are thin. Draft can get through gaps in door. Bed too firm for me (I weigh 67 kg). Shower head and faucet are getting old.

Not the newest room but very neat, clean & tidy motel. The bed was very comfortable, the heater worked well and the location is great surrounded by the beautiful autumn trees. Coffee making facilities were good. Bathroom also very good. And the pricing was great value. Zero complaints and I would definetly stay there again.

The WiFi didn't reach the room we were staying in so we couldn't access it unless we were outside , closer to reception. However when this was brought to the attention of the staff she seemed concerned and said she would call the internet provider to sort it out for future guests.
