All we wanted was a place to spend the night while we were on a 2 day Great Ocean road trip. And i cant think of a better option than Loch Ard Motor Inn. Just about 10 mins drive from the Great apostles , which meant i could have a proper non rushed sunset view and then come and check in. There are a few restaurants and a gas station on the same road as this Inn and that takes care of all your needs. And next day morning you can check out every other attraction nearby without any hassle and then head back out to Melbourne. And the room and the beds are comfy( with even bed warmers in the winter)

Very friendly reception, quick and easy check in. The room was clean on arrival and had a lovely view. We were there during winter so bugs weren’t really a concern, however there were a lot of signs regarding ants so maybe something to be aware of during the warmer months. Also as it was winter we were there on a particularly wet, cold and windy night. The noise of the wind running through the building was insane, it felt like being inside a washing machine!! The rain on the roof not helping either. It was also very cold in the room but they did have heated blankets in the bed which was a plus.

Loved my stay here! It is a simple motel room but done very well. It was super clean, modern, new bathroom and incredible location. The TV with all the apps was great, decent sized fridge and all you need for basic cutlery and plates/cups etc. The cute little porch looking onto the main street and the beach was so beautiful! Staff were super accommodating and friendly as well. I had an incredible view and it was such a pleasant room to stay in. Loved it!

I'd really have loved the option of sheer curtains for privacy without blocking out the view. The blackout blinds are great for night-time but the option of sheer as well would have made it a perfect stay! I also would have liked a sink where the fridge was (but that's being picky) rather than using the bathroom sink. Some motels have shared kitchen areas (oven, stove, big fridge) which also would have been good (again, being super picky). That would have been a bonus.

The room was far more spacious than we'd expected. We really appreciated that the heat was on prior to our arrival so we enjoyed a cosy, comfortable stay from the moment we entered the room. Check-in was a breeze and hotel staff were friendly and informative. Great location close to the local pub for a great dinner. Ocean views from the balcony.

It didn't bother us at all, but there were a number of stairs to climb with luggage. Just worth noting for those who may have reduced mobility.

I recently stayed at Loch Ard Motor Inn in Port Campbell, and I was very happy with my experience. The room was modern, clean, and very nice, making my stay extremely comfortable. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. A special mention goes to the staff for their attentiveness; I accidentally left my laptop in the room, but they called me just in time before I headed back to Melbourne. As someone who lives in Melbourne, this was a perfect close getaway. I had a fantastic time exploring Port Campbell and will definitely consider returning for another stay.

Super energetic and warm welcome from lovely fellow - so sorry I don't recall your name. All staff smiling and efficient. Location Brill near the beach and cliff walk and shops. View from the room was wonderful, so sorry it was only 1 night's stay. Room was really comfy and cosy with plenty of space for sitting, eating and bags and great balcony. I was on the first floor thus my great view. Beds excellent, amenities perfect, very clean, shower great and generally a super stay. Thanks so much and hope all the town refurb will be over soon so things can settle for you all. It will be amazing when it is done, I hope!

Centrally located so there are lots of food options nearby. There’s also small grocery store right across the property and a gasoline station so it’s convenient. Quick walk to the beach too. Place is as described, 2 floors, clean and quite spacious for 5 guests. Everything you will need for a comfortable stay is already provided. Parking is also near the unit so easy to bring stuff from car. Bonus great view from the 2nd floor. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

We only had one night here on our way along the Great Ocean Road, but I would happily have stayed longer! We had beautiful ocean views, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. All interactions with the staff were lovely and we were given great advice on where to go for dinner.

Only negative is the nearby road construction going on at the moment, but it was only a minor inconvenience and didn’t detract from our overall experience, and certainly unavoidable for the motel management.

The check-in was simple and efficient. Staff member on duty was warm , welcoming and very friendly. I booked 2 rooms under my name and my friend forgot he’s key in he’s room and Evan though there was nobody at reception, we got access very easily once they verified me by using the after hours call button located outside of the reception entrance. This is a no fuss establishment. Exceeded my expectations for the money I paid.

Double storey unit but only have one shared bath room at ground floor. Ground floor and bathroom are really cold due to no heating ac unit
