What an unforgettable place to spend a night!! This is not only a place to have a night but also an experience. The host offers you a tour to see lots of kangaroos and wallabies, he is so sweet, fun and nice!!! We won't forget that day. There is a supermarket 2' by car. Well located if you are coming or going to 12 Apostols. The breakfast is in your own bedroom and quite variated what is nice! The bed was comfortable and cozy. It was warm as well. The bathroom was extremely clean! Pd. It is not a big deal but if you arrive after sunset pay attention to avoid missing the entrance. Thank you so much, Ronnie!!!!

Everything was perfect

The owners Ronnie and Michelle are very helpful and genuine. They shared their lovely house with us and we were forever impressed by their stories. The room is sparkling clean. Got everything you need. Also just viewing the farmland with cows enjoying their lives in stone throw away. Location is 20 mins away from the busy and expensive great ocean road. Thank you for letting us share this beautiful place!

It’s located close to a farm so expect some nature visitors - harmless spiders, moths and flies. But the room is very clean and well equipped so it wasn’t bothering us at all

Ruby Rose Bed & Breakfast exceeded all our expectations! Our room was spotless and well equipped for a cold night. The pantry was full of options for a filling breakfast. The hosts were friendly, attentive, and full of great local recommendations that made our trip even more special. You can tell they genuinely care about making guests feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for, it was lovely to chat with Michelle and Ronnie and wish them the best for the future. Hope we can stay here again soon!

I loved my stay at the Ruby Rose! It was such a fantastic experience to stay on an authentic Aussie farm, and meeting the host there was a real pleasure. I loved the "night safari" on his land, spotting plenty of kangaroos and a possum! I used it as a base while travelling the Great Ocean Road, and was happy to get away from the touristy areas and into this idyllic rural spot, the real Australia! The room was beautifully presented, very well-equipped, and quiet. I particularly appreciated the kettle, toaster and microwave for my self-catered stay, and had an excellent night's sleep there. Waking up to the sound of birdsong all around, and having my morning coffee on the beautiful grounds, was really special. I would have liked to have stayed longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved the quite area, peaceful & relaxing. Room had everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights & Michelle kept us stocked with supplies for coffee, tea, milk, breakfast etc. Lights & heater were always on when we arrived back usually in the dark, after our day out & about exploring, so nice & welcoming. We found their location a great base for visiting all the neighbouring towns, GOR etc.

The experience. Ronnie and his wife are wonderful. They are hardworking people, but they take time to show you the place around. This lovey couple is uplifting, genuine, and their place is exactly what I was looking for: it is quiet, pretty, super clean, welcoming. And a special note to Ruby, the shy dog, and the other dog - it hurts me to not remember her name because she was the cutest dog ever. We will go back if we can.

There is not much around, sure, so some might find the place isolated and perhaps a little too remote (not a lot of eateries around) but this is perfect for city-based people like me, who was not disappointed by the place as my wife and I were hoping to escape the busy city lifestyle for a week-end

Continental breakfast was excellent...a good start to the day. Peaceful area so slept well. Adjoining bar and restaurant were marvellous.

As there was a group of us friends who took up the five (5) available rooms, would have liked to have more tables and seating outside the rooms to facilitate our gettogether or for the restaurant to be open earlier for breakfast there instead of in our rooms separately.

This was such a nice stay, and I would have wanted to stay longer. The room had everything needed, breakfast to be made myself from ingredients provided. Really nice view over to fields and yard with many different kinds of birds visiting. The hosts were very friendly and took me out to see kangaroos nearby!

I wish all the best for the hosts, their animals and the surrounding wildlife in the future, despite hard times!

It is an b&b with two rooms situated off a main road on a farm. The distance to the road is large enough so you don't get any traffic noise. The gravel road to the property is easily traversable, Google Maps shows the proper location, there is also a sign so you know where to turn. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is diy, it is okay. The hosts are very friendly. If you want and they are home, Ronnie will take you on a short drive on the property in a 4x4 to a section which is frequented by kangaroos. You might even see a koala in a tree. We were lucky enough to see a whole bunch of the jumping jacks, was a really great experience. The hosts were gracious enough to give us half an hour more in the morning as we were absolutely knackered after an overnight long haul. We would definitely return.

The rooms have a connecting door, so I guess if there was someone else in the other room there might be some sounds. But then again, maybe not.

Michelle was a great host. She made a lot of effort to make sure that we were welcome in her home. Overall the B&B proved a charming accommodation. The location was in an interesting village of Keith. The breakfast was superb.

We were cold during the night. We suggest that you leave a blanket on the bed. The guests would also appreciate a rack for their clothes.
