The room was well maintained and immaculately clean. Comfortable bed and well equipped room with mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. On departure a note was on our car windscreen advising the hotel had cleaned our windscreens. We ate in the restaurant which had a varied menu and drinks options. Service from staff was very attentive and friendly.

Our room faced onto the main road and there was a lot of traffic noise late night and early morning. Maybe these rooms on this side need double glazed windows?

Coming from Sydney, we were expecting something like a formula One hotel... This hotel was clean, mattress and pillows were amazing! So much so I bought a brand new pillow from the hotel to take home! The pool, spa and sauna were a pleasant surprise. In the morning , they washed out windscreen that was parked in their carpark and they left a lovely note. I just wish there was a gateway hotel closer to Sydney. I would 110% stay here again.

We couldn't find a minibar price list. There were two bottles of water in the fridge that were branded gateway hotel. I stupidly assumed these were complimentary, as at all hotels worldwide. Unfortunately, the water is not complimentary but $3.5/bottle (which is still cheap for a hotel). I was quite upset about this because it's a waste of money...but the lady at reception was respectful and after I explained I was quite bothered about this, she refunded me the $7. This is literally the only bad thing from the hotel at all.

Odd that they have toasters in the rooms but no plates or cutlery to do anything with the toast The kids loved the swimming pool, however I got in the hot pool and had flies crawling all over me, I was pulling them off the kids, and then I found a tick crawling up my neck. I’d say they need to clean their filters and perhaps get new ones. Ordered room service and they forgot one meal, the food was ok. We specifically booked somewhere with a restaurant for our daughters birthdays only to find out the restaurant was closed that day when we tried to make reservations - wish we had of known, we would have chosen somewhere else to stay. Great place in general, just the small things that mattered this time

The room was lovely and clean, and the location was ideal. I was greeted by a friendly staff member on arrival and the process was quicky and easy. The room was lovely and warm when we first entered it, which was nice.

The drain in the bathroom was making loud glugging noises every time we used the bathroom tap or when the room above us used their bathroom, this was a little annoying during the early hours of the morning even with the bathroom door closed and woke us each time.

Good sized room, clean and well-appointed. The pool was very well heated - our kid was in there at 8am on a six degree morning! There was a wedding reception at the hotel when we were staying and we were a bit worried about noise, but our room was very quiet.

This is extremely niche, but the TV had motion smoothing turned on (the thing that makes everything look too crispy, like a sports match or a cheap drama). We watched Paddington 2 and it looked so awful! The remote was for Foxtel only, so we couldn't get into the settings to turn it off.

I'm a nervous traveller and feel very unsafe and insecure if facilities aren't clean, spacious and secure. The facilities at Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway made me instantly feel comfortable and at ease because the rooms were spacious, well laid out and exceptionally clean and secure, the staff were professional and courteous and we loved having a swim in the lovely pool during our visit too. When we go back to Wangaratta, Quality Hotel is 100% where we will be staying again.

Great size rooms, beds were super comfortable, rooms are updated and great quality, TV's have the option to cast and foxtel was on offer. Theres also free wifi on offer and a resturant downstairs if you dont feel like going anywhere for food however it is in quite a central location to other food options. Cafes are a close walk also.

Hotel is on a main street so if you are by the main road there is a lot of chatter through the night from locals. You can also hear doors of other rooms closing and people outside of the room so they aren't overly sound proof. Did have a mix up where reception gave someone who had checked in a key to my room and they were trying to enter the room however this was quickly resolved.

Recently refurbished room fittings were comfortable, including the fold-out sofa bed. The spa and sauna were a lovely surprise and very welcome after a long drive. The pool setting was very nice and if it had been warmer we would have sat around there.

The alarm clock in the unoccupied room next door went off at midnight, so loud it woke us up. However, staff were available and resolved it as quickly as possible.

Great staff. Terrific food. All facilities very useful and made the stay quite enjoyable. The car park is roomy and accessible and is a real asset to the site. Your people are efficient and extremely good at what they do. Having our windscreen cleaned was a nice touch.

Our room was a Balcony room and it faced the main road through town. Simply way too noisy and I could not stay at the site again if a room in that area was offered to me or was the only option available. I don't know what the solution is but at the present time a reasonable night's sleep on that side of the complex is impossible as far as I am concerned.

I booked the hotel without any expectations; the check-in staff were excellent, and the process was easy and quick. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, I dined at the Restaurant both nights; the staff were friendly, and the food was some of the best food I have had anywhere. To top off the whole stay, after checking out, there was a note on the windscreen of my car advising that they had cleaned it for the trip home and wishing me a safe trip.
