This little site was brilliant. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the staff with a big smile and made to feel welcome. The site has great facilities, though we only used the swimming pool and slept in the cabin. Now, the cabin looked almost brand new. It was so clean and tidy and in great condition. We noticed that there were other brand-new cabins being installed on the site too. Location was great with a supermarket and take away right next door and only a few minutes drive to beaches, cafes and the inlet. Pretty sure we will be back.

The site was a little dated, but that wouldn't put me off staying here again, I have definitely stayed in worse places.

We had a great time staying in a chalet for a few nights! The chalet itself seemed brand new! It was very clean and well stocked. It was also plenty of room for us, with two young kids and a dog. The playground and communal BBQ area was impressive and also included a pizza oven and hot plates along with fridges and a vending machine for treats. The location was ideal for us wanting to explore the local beaches and Collins Pool.

If there was one thing that would make the setup even better it would be an awning out the front of the chalet or over the adjacent car parking space, to create an area to relax outside with a drink in the afternoon whilst being shaded from the sun. Not complaining though as this was excellent value for money and we had a great time!

We stayed for one night in a one bedroom cabin. It was clean, comfortable and quiet and it had all we needed. The cabin was well set up and the bed was comfortable, I liked that there were two pillows each, one firm and one soft! It has air-conditioning to the bedroom area. It has a little kitchen set-up with all you need. The shower had good water pressure. There is an IGA next to the caravan park and it's walking distance to the estuary. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Just wish we had time to swim in the pool! We were very happy with our stay and would come again.

It would be nice to have little things of shampoo and conditioner available but I did bring my own. The smart TV in our cabin played up but reception was very helpful. Otherwise our stay was perfect, thank you!

Hi everyone our stay was exceptional the cabin was perfect the staff were fantastic. Facilities were great .the locals are very friendly and helpful. We have a cavoodle mitze she was so relaxed and well behaved it was like a home to her.We definitely will be back soon.Thankyou all so much for a stress free holiday. Lots of great memories.

Absolutely nothing

The house is so spacious, has modern decor and clean throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with electric stove,oven and dishwasher. The rooms have beds that are comfy for a good nights sleep and have built in wardrobe suitable for large families to stay. There’s also a washermachine and dryer. We love that the house is close to the swimming pool and has a large backyard for a family BBQ and the kids to play. Iga is just a walk away and opens every day at 6am. Thank you to the wonderful staffs for messaging us ahead, making it a smooth check in for us to communicate when we arrive. Will definitely be top choice for our family next time we visit!

Nothing! Even though the whole house is newly renovated, the tiles in the bathroom seems like they are from the original house - its gives character and love that the owners have kept it.

This is our second time here. The cabin is very new and clean. Has everything we need, stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, big TV etc. Spacious room and good lightning. Bathroom has good ventilation and lightning. Hot water was consistent throughout the shower. Staff were very friendly, easy late check-in. I've made a special request to have a hair dryer in my room, and they left it there when we check in. Bed was very comfy. The area is very quiet.

Everything was great!

The stay was nice and relaxing. Close to beach/estuary. Shops next door for convenience. Son enjoyed the pool. Staff were lovely at check in/out.

Beds were hard unfortunately. Photos looked different to what we stayed in. No verandah and outdoor seating or bbq that was listed. Lounge needs a coffee table. A back gate through to IGA would be fab for those staying at the rear of the property.

The cabin seems new and spacious. Room was clean and has everything we need. Electric stove, kettle, fridge etc. Parking available in front of the cabin, but there's stairs to get to the cabin. Staffs were very friendly, easy late check in.

Mainly the shower head. Maybe because it's a bit old, water is very diffuse, making it hard to shower. However, this is the only thing we were not satisfied with. Everything else was great.

Lovely staff and easy to find. Clean, updated, comfortable, tastefully furnished chalet which was value for money!! The park is located next to an IGA, bottle shop, chemist and public transport.

I was disappointed there was no hair dryer. 😀(Maybe an iron/ironing board also). Annnd the back door frame has a little lip on the bottom that tripped me a couple of times.

We were staying at Dawesville for personal reasons. It was close to our friends home so it was easy to get between places.

The back door on our cabin had no curtain, so I felt that anyone could see in when leaving the bathroom to the bedroom.
