everything was good we had a wheel chair access room that worked fine we probably could have not had breakfast added as by the time we were able to get moving in the morning it was after the cut off time of 9.00 however the location had plenty of cafes and restaurants close at hand for adequate meals all in all a very pleasant stay

there was not a lot of information about the area in the room IE tours and no restaurant in hotel however there were plenty within short walk of the front door

Amazing night away with my partner for his birthday. The ladies at reception are super friendly, the room is immaculate clean and smells amazing, big bathroom and an awesome rain shower head, the balcony is massive and the views of the canals are breathtaking, breakfast in the morning was delicious, plus so far they are the only hotel that I have stayed at that supply you with decaffeinated coffee satchels in the room, usually I miss out on a coffee because no hotels supply decaf! Thank you so much guys, we will be back!

Nothing, it was fabulous.

The room was comfortable and clean with a nice bed. Awesome view of the river and nice balcony with seating. The balcony door was soundproof and I couldn’t hear the noise outside when closed and the curtains were light/heat proof, which was perfect for blocking morning sun. There is a great little pool with chairs and towels. I would have liked some shade of the pool area. Mostly, the staff were so lovely. The reception team and managers were all so friendly and helpful. Every cleaner I met was so nice and would say hi. I don’t think you’re allowed to be grumpy and work there. It just made for a better experience.

The pool area needs more shade. The tiles get so hot in the afternoon that they are painful to walk on. The door handle to the room was a bit dicky. The shower probably needs a new shower head and tiles need a deep clean (no mould though). And the bathroom sink is this terrible shape that when you turn the very powerful tap on, the water will splash on your pants. None of these things would stop me from staying again though.

Very large room with bath tub. Large balcony with view over the water. We could see dolphins frolicking in front of us. We were able to pay 70 dollars extra to checkout at 5 pm instead of 11 am.

A complementary bottle of water in the room would have been nice for the money you pay for the room. Cleaning staff entering the room while sign " do not disturb" was hanging on the doorhandle outside. Late check out at 5 pm not being communicated with cleaning staff. Was locked out of the room by 11 am. Could not use my room card to get back into my room.

Clean room, good staff and very central.

Lack of any real tea, coffee, small milks or even bowls to have some cereal in. No microwave. This made me have to go out to have every single meal while I was there. Stayed at Rydges at the Gold Coast airport after this stay and it had all of these things - to have a cuppa - and was about 70 dollars cheaper per night. These are the basic things that I would suggest are necessary in a hotel that charges more than 200 dollars a night.

Great location for work function.

The check in process was frustrating & confusing. I had booked 4 rooms in my name as I was paying for them. I called the day before to check all my colleagues could check in without me so long as names were on rooms. At check in, my colleagues were asked to put down the room rate as a pre authorisation on their credit cards which was annoying & then one card was charged twice in error & now my own credit card has quite a few charges & reversals due to the mixing up.

The Sebel Mandurah offered several positive aspects that enhanced our stay. - Cleanliness: Both the hotel and the room were impeccably clean, creating a pleasant and hygienic environment during our stay. - Comfortable Bed: The bed provided a restful night’s sleep, ensuring we felt well-rested during our stay. - Spacious Room: The room’s generous size allowed for comfortable movement and relaxation for the period we were there.

However, there are areas for improvement that the hotel management should consider: - Missing Crockery and Utensils: It would have been convenient if the room included crockery and utensils, especially for those who prefer in-room dining or snacks. Insecure Parking: The lack of secure car parking was disappointing, as we value the safety and protection of our vehicle. Overall, the Sebel Mandurah offers a clean and comfortable stay, but improvements in room amenities and parking security would enhance the experience.

We liked the spacious room, the pool, location (close to restaurants), nearby free parking, in house movies, courteous staff, balcony, cleanliness.

Housekeeping forgot to empty one of the bins, but was resolved with a phone call, toilet occasionally ran and needed a service, bathroom grout needed whitening, sliding door to the balcony stuck and probably needed a more permanent fix than to 'use the left hand door,' desk chair was badly scruffed up and needed reupholstering.

Room was large & comfy. Nice outlook from the balcony. Had a problem with the air conditioning not working properly, unless changed to 18 deg. Advised staff, as was Easter wasn't able to fix, offered change of room next day but only there for 2 nights so decided not to shift. Hotel close to boardwalk and variety of restaurants. Free shuttle bus close by for trip into city, however also within walking distance of the hotel

Stayed before. Great location, nice little pool area. Staff friendly, especially the cleaning ladies on floor 3.

Allocated room 315, third floor . The room was clean, comfortable, good views. However was situated right above the Pen bar which was noisy most nights until around 22:00 - 22:30. So if we stay again I would ask to avoid this room. Otherwise great hotel .
