Interesting hotel, even if it's 3 star hotel - I felt like it was a famous place in the past. Rooms are very large, restaurant has space for many guests, breakfast is above expectations comparing to other hotels we stayed in Austria. I like that the hotel has a free underground parking, which is indeed a great bonus in a winter time, especially during snowfalls. Included ticket in termes - is something special with access to all zones and included parking there.

Well, I understand that hotel is not new - but some areas there reminded me scenes for scary movie, or may be school or hospital from old times. I think basement, stairs, sauna could be refreshed/renovated I understand, that theses things can be hardly fixed that easily, but giving 8, not 9 because of the internet. WiFi coverage is ok but internet was terrible. I had to switch back to mobile one because it was not possible to use it properly.

The hotel offered very comfortable rooms and excellent dinners and very good breakfast. The deal with cable car and spa tickets was really great and was the primary reason for us. The view from the balcony was also lovely.

The bathroom will need some renovation in the future, however, it worked without any problems. The staff in the restaurant was somehow slow and we were in a hurry to make the spa after dinner almost every day.

Very comfy beds, great view from the balcony to the mountains. Underground parking, although open and cold, but it was great to have a safe free space to park under the hotel. Secluded place with great views. Loved the free pass to Alpen Therme. That exceeded our expectations as the sauna area there was best we have ever seen.

Guests are allowed to smoke in the balcony which was an unpleasant surprise at this age and in Austria out of all places. Could not enjoy the view from the balcony as fumes from smokers were all over the place. Staff especially at the breakfast could be more helpful. One lady during breakfast was especially unfriendly abd inly focused on setting tables for the lunch already.

We got an apartment with three bedrooms - was large and well equipped. Hotel has also large indoor children room which was very close to the our room and we enjoyed it . Spa was about 12-15 minutes to walk through the park.

It was not clear from confirmation we will get one large apartment with there bedrooms . Confirmation we got was for two apartments. Doors to the bathrooms was not possible to close .

Good location staff was supportive 👌 facilities in the room were good no air condition . the mattress was a bit too soft (it's about time to replace the mattress) Brakfest and diner were good. And on top of all free entrance to the Terms and cables cars were the highlight.

large and comfortable rooms that were warm (which was important for us, considering that after a whole day of hiking we came to rooms that were heated), everything was very clean, the service at the reception was excellent - they answered all our questions and gave us advice). We had half board and we didn't regret it - a buffet breakfast and dinner where you could choose 3 different dishes, again buffet style. The end of October was perfect for us for hiking, there are many trails that can easily be reached by excellent local transport - the main station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We also used the free entrance to the thermal baths, but that did not impress us because of the excessive number of people and the crowd, which is by no means the hotel's problem, hence our rating it is not diminished because of that. Finally, it should be mentioned that the hotel has a garage where you can park your car and you don't have to worry about parking.

everything was great

Clean, warm and good size room. Alpine centrum entry is included everyday in the hotel price and it is max 10min walk. Glass of prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. Very good buffet breakfast and good choice of meat/fish and vegetarian buffet dinner. We rented e-bikes from the hotel -good bikes and very convenient. Good wifi. You can pick up hiking maps and information from the receiption. staff were very nice and helpful. We had a great time and we would always come back if in the area.

location , very confortable beds , nice and friendly staff. And also the benefits that you have due to the Gastein guest card are really great.

the only thing I have to say is that in the toilet room there was a bad smell of food coming from the restaurant from ground floor. we stayed at 3 rd floor.

The hotel is located in a nice village with thermal bad, entrance fee as well as funicular fee were included in the accommodation price. We really loved the area - the thermal bad is awesome and the whole valley with other villages is beautiful, great for hiking, there are fantastic mountin views. We would like to come back in winter :)

The images at the booking.com web page are confusing - e.g. the swimming pool is not in the hotel, but in the thermal bad, which is at about 10mins walking distance from the hotel (despite included in the price of the accommodation). We´ve had half pension prepaid and the meal, especially the breakfast, was very monotonous. Dinner was much better but the drinks, neither non-alcoholic, were not included in the half pension price.

Good quality hotel

I didn't make reservation for dinner. One night I wanted to have dinner there but they said I needed to book before. It is hard to understand for me that with all the food they have there they couldn't give an option to have dinner there.
