We stayed in a charming mountain cabin surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Alps for one night. Inside, everything was tastefully renovated and very cozy, although the space was a bit limited which is understandable for this type of accommodation. We initially overlooked the fact that the cabin is only accessible on foot, but in the end, this turned into a unique part of our holiday experience, and we enjoyed the stay.

Although the description does mention that the accommodation is accessible only by foot, we feel this should be emphasized more explicitly — especially considering that the uphill walk takes closer to an hour rather than the 30 minutes stated and guests should be informed about how parking at Kaisertal-Parkplatz works where the trail starts.

The view is breathtaking and the staff is very friendly. The food is yummy, specially the pastries. Try the spring water (free and unlimited for guests). Talk to the staff for recommendations (beware, Florian is fit and underestimates the challenging hikes he recommends, but they are beautiful). Finally, use the guest card that you can get during check in to use the Kaiserlift and other attractions for free.

It could be clearer in the listing how hard it is to reach the place (55 minutes uphill hike for experienced hikers, it took us 1.5 hours with backpacks).

Incredible views and location. Room was large, clean, bed was comfortable and balcony was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Food was good, though service very slow. Overall totally worth it for the experience.

There was no info about where to park our car prior to hiking to the hotel, making figuring out where to start the hike to the hotel a bit stressful. Once we messaged the hotel they told us the car park address. I think the address to the parking lot needs to be included with all reservations, as I assume all guests have the same issue and frustration as us. Also, the stated “30 min hike” to the hotel is rather tough, gaining 1000ft of elevation in less than a mile. Anyone who is not fit would have a very hard time with this. Although not an issue for us, I think this should be mentioned in the hotel description to avoid unforeseen trouble for elder or less fit people.

My 2nd stay here and it is amazing, I will be returning again. The hotel has a home feeling and is taken care of with great attitude. The rooms are amazing, a great view from the balcony too. You can use sauna in the evenings or do yoga in the morning. All food is home-made and tastes incredible. 100% recommended, great area for hiking and resting among the mountains.

The perfect location for a long weekend! Nice atmosphere with amazing views from the balcony and sauna, amazing food with many veggie options, good drinks. The Kufstein Card is included, which grants you access to many sights (e.g. the nostalgic chair lift). We had no problems with the check-in, as many commented before. Quite the contrary, the online system is efficient and fast. The hike up is not too exhausting, but I would not advice to carry your luggage. The staff was very friendly and prepared a very cute engagement dinner table for us - THANK YOU! We will be back :)

Beautiful place, delicious food, fantastic friendly service! The sauna is an additional highlight making the place even more awesome. We loved it, and our one year old kid too!! Our stay was perfect, thank you so much :) We will be happy to come again and recommend it (it was also a recommendation from friends).

It was all great. If anything could be better, is that mountain shoes were allowed all over, which leaves some “mud crumbs”. Usually you wouldn’t even notice, but with a small kid that loves playing around in the ground, we thought it could be nice to make the part after the restaurant a “shoe-free zone”.

Lovely place in the middle of the mountains, with a lot of walks possibilities. The hotel has a great sitting area, that makes you actually get to know other guests and spend nice time together. There is also a great sauna and morning yoga. Food was great and rooms cozy and comfortable.

Lovely location with stunning views! Service great. Morning yoga + nice breakfast. Could not have wished for more, except a longer stay.

The kids (6, 8, 11) found the hike to the hotel a bit tough. I don’t recommend to bring children under 6. Once there the children loved it though!

Breakfasts were plentiful and good. Dinners were excellent. The location was perfect for our purpose. The staff were friendly and helpful.

it took some time for the stuff in the morning to issue us the bill for beers we had the previous evening..on the other hand the evening staff were wonderful
