The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is always a matter of opinion, but in this case it was optimally chosen for the purpose of my trip.

My onsite request (during check-in) to get a higher floor room to have a view of the city was accepted with the result to have window view to a neighbouring office building - a total fiasco, very disappointing (I was too tired to address this issue again as I arrived after a sleepless night due to long-distance travel). The bed mattress of my non-smoking room had a smell of cigarette smoke (it was replaced after I addressed the issue). The price level for hotel-based food and drinks is not adequate considering the prices outside the hotel.

We loved every second of the stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing, professional and caring. Awesome food. Lovely waiting staff. Exceptionally clean room. We even got a complimentary upgrade when we mentioned the stay was a part of our honeymoon! Great gym and swimming pool on the roof.

Exceptional hotel and staff. Its the people that make the difference and that make you feel comfortable. Right from the start being greeted at the airport and transferred in comfort to the hotel, being checked in quickly by Raquib, who remembered me from my stay here in January, after a long flight, and upgraded to a suite due to IHG membership. The management team went out of their way during my stay to take the time to interact, with Taj and Tabassum spending time asking about my home and family and ensuring I had everything I needed. When my flights were cancelled on check out day, Taj made sure that nothing was a problem and secured me my room for another two days, seeking the best available rate. Mim in the café remembered me, asked about my daughter and served up some incredible food. The service by Bipu in the restaurant was great, and Shuvo the cook would just start making my morning omelet when I walked into the restaurant - without being asked. Also, I have to mention Aslam my cleaner who took exceptional care to make sure the room was in excellent condition every day. What a team! They will remember you and anticipate your needs throughout your stay. I would challenge anyone to find a more comfortable hotel in Dhaka, or a more professional and genuine staff.

Good spread and Early start of BF is useful. Rooms are fairly clean and upkeep was good on daily basis Front desk was efficient with their checkin and checkout tasks

Mini fridge wasn't stacked. Few necessities like room service and front desk numbers, Toiletries, menu card details etc were not readily available Travel desk can be better prepared to handle local travel needs Food can be kept warm even through the restaurant timings

Had problems with our booking we booked for 2 separate beds for 2peoople But at the time of checking in they offered us the King size bed which was not suitable and my son needs a separate bed However they offered us a rollover bed which was extremely unsuitable and uncomfortable for my son who’s 6’2” tall and our four day’s stay was ruined because he was waking up every few minutes during the night Though I remembered that I made booking at booking.com and explicitly mentioned 2 people and requiring 2 separate beds Mr. Asif the attending person at the time of checking in was not able to help and said that the hotel is fully booked and no room for 2 beds available for whole week I expect that I must be compensated for this mistake either by Booking.com or by IHG / Holiday Inn

Everything was awesome, kind and helpful personnel, they are ready to help you in any situations. The location is good you can get easily the most popular places in Dhaka. And facility is great, pool, spa centre are perfect.

Mosquitos... although the staff was active trying to kill them all! One serious note: the gym is way too hot, since the zircon is too little.

I calculated 1.88% was charged in excess of the Service Charge and VAT. I queried this at the time but explanation given was not satisfactory. Is this additional 1.88% chargeable to foreign guests only? If it is, then it should have been clearly stated on the invoice to avoid confusion.

There is only one restaurant and a small cafe in the hotel. It gets monotonous with the same kind food served every day in both. The hotel is not situated in an area which is close to amenities such as shopping mall, restaurants, etc. It would be more desirable if few more restaurants are located within the hotel serving varieties of dishes from around the world.

The elevator was excellent; it was so fast. NFC keys were so much convenient. Swimming pool was good. Reception was so much cooperative. Location is very good and congestion free; very easy to approach in and out.

Room cleaning should not be done in absence of us. Changing room should be near the swimming pool to make ladies more comfortable. There should be a shaving kit (razor and after shave lotion) in washroom.
