I felt happy and comfortable during my stay and got heartfelt touched by all aspects, The front desk associates are always ready to serve their prompt and coordial assistance , Glad to inform and thank Mr., Imraz, Mubarak and team members for the complimentary gift on behalf of front desk service and nicely we felt honored during our stay! Appreciated 🙏 From the room service Mr. Ripon, Sana Ullah, Amran and Shahin have shown well professional manners we are thankful to everyone 🙏 The hotel has a perfectly quiet environment and there were none of the issues inside the room, buffet breakfast was great and delicious 😋 and some items has changed daily, we love the rooftop place, Hotel location is heart of the firmgate abd infornt of Metro gate Thanks hotel management authority we are pretty sure visit again shortly.

I stayed in this Hotel a couple of times and it was pleasant to stay there. The staff and their behaviour are up to the mark. Keep it up.....

The staff at the front desk and the porter were very friendly and welcoming. They were polite and spoke good English. Since it was my first time in Dhaka, Bangladesh, I asked some questions and always got prompt, helpful answers. I ate at both of the hotel’s restaurants. The rooftop restaurant serves Indian/Chinese/Thai dishes, while RASUN offers Bangladeshi food. The portions were generous, and as a foreigner I found the food authentic. Many locals eat there too. Prices are a bit higher than in other places because of VAT and the service fee, but the hygiene and environment make up for it. The hotel is close to Farmgate Metro Station and about a 20-minute walk from Tejgaon Railway Station. If you’re comfortable with crowded public transport, the location is convenient. I took both the commuter and metro trains, which were interesting experiences. During my trips and rickshaw rides, locals helped me buy tickets and negotiate fares. I’m grateful for their hospitality. Outside the hotel there’s a busy market that runs day and night. It’s perfect if you want to experience local street life and pick up small items, but it can be noisy, so keep that in mind if you prefer a quiet stay. Overall, during my first visit to Bangladesh, I appreciated everyone who helped me. Seeing the country beyond YouTube and TikTok, I noticed the chaotic streets and the unsettled political climate, but I also saw how eager people are to move forward and improve their country. That left a strong impression on me.

A very clean and very friendly hotel centrally located in Dhaka. With extremely helpful personnel - they helped me to purchase a ticket for a launch to Barisal through internet, which I could not do due to problems with paying -they paid it from their own money with subsequnet reimbursement from my side, (thanks to Shahin and Ahsan), and very friendly personnel in the nice roof-top restaurant (Artiful). Shahin also helped me to get rickshaws in the street and gave them instructions where to go. Internet worked very well.

Hotel Shuktara offers an exceptional stay in Dhaka, thanks to its great and convenient location. With a metro station just outside, exploring the city is a breeze. The highlight of our mornings was the delicious breakfast served at the rooftop restaurant, where we enjoyed stunning views alongside our meals. The staff were well-spoken, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making our 11-day stay even more enjoyable. Our room was consistently cleaned, and amenities were promptly refilled whenever we requested. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely choose Hotel Shuktara for our next visit to Dhaka!

This Hotel is more than reccommended. The location (right in front metro station Farmgate), superclean, comfortable rooms and beds, not noisy, staff super attentive and friendly. Beautiful rooftop with lovely views and tasty and affordable food. Room service superefficient. I took the private Transfer from the Hotel to the airport because app like Uber and Pathao are a nightmare, and although Its price was a bit high, I would reccommend anyone to consider this way when going back to the airport. My special thanful to MD Mehedi Hasan who was very kind, attentive and helpful at all times to me. Thank you so much to the whole team of Shuktara and guys please this is not an easy country to visit, make your Stay easy and pleasent and stay in this accommodation if you decide to come to Dhaka.

It was an small detail, but It was my fault. I lost my card key to my room and I was charged for this. Never happened to me before, but i understand and assume their policy.

Location is perfect if you want to explore Dhaka. Very good value for money. Breakfast was good as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Accommodated my request for a quiet room and gave me a room in a high floor.

Overall good. Was a bit hard to communicate in English with housekeeping staff specifically. I booked a single room and upon checkin they upgraded me to a double but after one night asked me to move again to the single room and it seemed like the uograde was just due to unavailability of single rooms upon checkin. Its ok cuz i originally selected the single rooms but i was not informed that the upgrade was due to unavailability upon checkin.

The location, the staff and quality of service were great! I went during quiet Eid time. The Indira road had. A market but the sound didn’t travel to my room. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and although I only ate breakfast there, it was lovely!

The space inside the bathroom although manageable was a bit small. Also worth noting that the entrance to the hotel has a staircase through which luggage needs to be hauled up to the reception. I had a heavy bag and felt quite sorry for the people who insisted on helping carry my suitcase up and down from the reception.

we had to pay about 500 BD Taka as a hidden cost which we don’t pay to any other hotel. The management should mention it in their package when booking online or over telephone. we already paid the taxes and govt fee, why there should be a hidden additional cost? we drank a 7-up from the room and they came up with a price of red-bull, I am not sure whether it was intentional or unintentional.
