This is the loveliest hotel! We realized after we booked that it's the oldest hotel in Belgium. It is elegant and furnished so well. The room was large and comfortable with a large bathtub and shower. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, delicious bread, and eggs cooked to your liking. This was old-style elegance while also being friendly and ensuring that you have everything you needed. Finally, it's in the best location! The square is in the center of town, and it was a delightful stay.

We didn't need it, but the room did not appear to have air conditioning. The large window open at night (with the curtains closed) created a nice breeze and we were very comfortable.

Despite being in the literal centre of Kortrijk, the hotel and its car park (which I think costs EUR15-a-day to use) were pretty easy to find. The car park was quite spacious, although there were no marked parking bays so people tended to park a little unnecessarily far apart meaning that the car park’s capacity was reduced by maybe 4 or 5 cars. Check-in was friendly and efficient and in no time at all we were in our beautifully presented Executive room. The hotel has a very pleasant bar, with seating indoors and out in the Grote Markt (the square in the middle of Kortrijk). We didn’t eat in the hotel, but they do have a restaurant. Breakfast was primarily a simple continental style, but cooked eggs were available on request. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Daimer and will definitely endeavour to stay there again.

It was a very warm day when we stayed and our Executive room was supposed to be air conditioned, but whatever we did with the air conditioning controls the room temperature sat around 27C, which made for a slightly more uncomfortable night’s sleep than we were expecting.

Spacious room and comfortable. Hotel right in centre so easy to walk everywhere Off road parking at the rear of the hotel which was a priority for.us. Good choice for breakfast. Good communication from hotel before check in.

Would have been nice to have had facilities to make tea/coffee in the room. There was bottled water in the room, but compared to other hotels we've stayed in there wasn't the small extra touches that make your stay more personal and comfortable. Didn't appreciate being woken at 8am by a text asking me to confirm my checkout time!

There happened to be a fair in town set up right across the street from the hotel (Ferris wheel, rides, games, lots of bells and whistles, etc.) but the hotel arranged for me to have a quiet room facing the interior courtyard of the hotel. I could not hear a thing!! It was wonderful! Breakfast the next morning was superb; everything you could possibly want for a healthy start to your day. Coffee, fresh baked croissants, many types of jams and jellies, etc.

There is nothing that I would add. Lobby a little dimly lit?! This is Europe! Who cares!

1st class hotel in an excellent location. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms that far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to the Expo or Kortrijk. We had dinner at the Brassiere with an invited guest and the food was excellent, pleasing both our guest and ourselves. The overnight stay finished with a great breakfast and a superb omelette, cooked fresh to perfection by the friendly staff. We will definitely be returning, but next time with more guests. 5 star service at 4 star prices Car parking was also very convenient, directly attached to the rear of the hotel, a bonus in a busy city center.

Overall a good hotel and A very nice traditional style room. A good breakfast as able to order more than the limited buffet. The location in the square surrounded by restaurants and only a short walk to such as other restaurants.

The room 'desk' was very narrow and basically a top with metal supports and not really enough room to work on. No kettle in the room but staff kindly supplied me with a hot water flask so it was satisfactory.

I love the room I was provided. It has a certain flair and style. I like the location very much. It is in the heart of Kortrijk and all necessary places for eating or resting are accessible in minutes.

The parking place would require some delimitation of the parking slots. When arriving the Reception area is not directly accessible. It is necessary to go outside and then go to the reception.

Nice hotel at a perfect location in Kortrijk. Very comfortable beds. The breakfast staff on Friday was very friendly and pro active (when you came in, asking what kind of eggs you want, etc).

The breakfast staff during the weekend was not very friendly and pro active. A bit overpriced for the rooms. I missed an iron and a coffee machine in the room.

great location directly at grand market square… nicely and classic design of the hotel, however some rooms are also very modern design… good breakfast… safe private parking in the back yard of the hotel… the only thing to raise is that wifi is not the best around the hotel, in my room was unreliable at times

A small. comfortable. warm hotel in the heart of the city. It is possible to reach almost everywhere on foot. We stayed in the new section. Our room was good.

A touch up on the breakfast buffet would be nice. Also. 1-2 more extra directional signs for the access to the parking lot would be great,
