Wonderfully furnished to a high standard and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast offered a good selection and the rooms are spacious and clean. The facilities, for a three star are outstanding.

The location is somewhat remote, which whilst useful for piece-fullness, also presented constraints if you wanted to go somewhere by taxi. Although the beds are very comfortable, the gap between the two connected single beds is considerable. Whilst the breakfast is delicious it would have been nice to have an option for toast.

This was our first stay here, and it was very enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was closed for that day but the Manager had reserved us a table in a nearby hostelry within easy walking distance. The hotel breakfast was plentiful. The hotel had a lovely countryside view from the front and a quiet road for walking. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. It was a real bonus to have a beautiful swimming pool. Excellent accommodation. Nice fresh fruit salad offered at breakfast. The property is very well maintained and in excellent condition. Very clean.

No fresh juices at breakfast. Fresh orange juice would have been a big plus. Directions to the hotel were signposted but Google Maps had trouble locating the address. The hotel is about 20km from Ypres where we went for dinner. The hotel has its own restaurant but you have to order ahead of time.

Very nice hotel, pool was very welcome after a long day's drive, sadly it was only a quick stop over we arrived late and left in the morning so didn't get the full experience but what we did experience was excellent, room was great, bed was one of the best I've slept in abroad, I will stay again if I'm passing

Location wouldn't be for some as it's abit in the middle of nowhere but there seemed to be alot of cyclists there and for that I would say it's perfect, and it's only 30 mins from the coast.

Four of us arrived on individual motorcycles, parked outside hotel. The rooms were very spacious and very clean. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from. Spaces outside to sit down and relax. We stayed another night on our return journey from Germany. Would definitely use this hire again.

Ideal location for us, 40 minutes from Channel Tunnel. Very good room, excellent food - evening meal and breakfast - and very welcoming family who own and run the hotel. The garden is beautiful and everything in the hotel is of very good quality. We stay here most years and are never disappointed.

We have stayed here several times before. The hotel is family-run and is ideally located for us when travelling from the UK into mainland Europe. The owners are very friendly and everything in the hotel is of a very high quality - the facilities, the room, the bed and the food. The hotel is also ideally placed for visiting Ypres and the WW1 cemataries.

Quiet surroundings, next to the former customs and gas stations. Nice hosts, free parking, spacious room. I come a bit after 9 pm, despite the fact that the restaurant was closed and the owner was sick after back surgery, he kindly prepared a divinely delicious salad for me because I was late for dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

A bit tricky to find the entrance at first, especially in the evening:) the sound of a vulcanizer's pneumatic gun can be heard from the truck parking lot across the road (when the window is open)

There are 4 large petrol stations on Belgian side of frontier which is along middle of the road. So continuous line of heavy lorries queuing to fill up and return to the motorway between Lille and The coast.

great location for ww1 battlefields. brilliant facilities; pool etc. parking and Wi-Fi great.

disappointed on arrival after a lengthy and tiring drive, to find the hotel closed. check in is at 4pm, we knew that, but not allowed inside even to wait, have a coffee etc. we arrived about 2pm and we’re told to come back at 4pm. drive around for 2 hours. appreciate hotel is cleaning rooms but surely a bit of courtesy towards guests would have been appropriate. great hotel and facilities and location is good depending on what your visiting area for. not sure sure about our welcome though.
