Very happy with my stay here! I had arrived earlier than the listed check-in time, however staff were very gracious, accommodating and gave me my room without even mentioning it. Location is exceptional and the facilities here are excellent - clean and quite comfortable, and the rooftop is a great place to situate yourself for working from your laptop. I chose this spot as I had to sit for online exams and I was very satisfied with the minimal noise and general respect from other guests. Lastly the cutlery for utilizing their kitchen and additional locker for storage, in addition to the bottle opener on the key chain were very small and well-thought details that were very impressive.

Better lighting in the rooms and communal bathroom (particularly over the sink area) would greatly improve the overall feel of the place. Given that the top bunk was inaccessible without a ladder the bottom bunks are in complete darkness - a small side lamp would be an excellent touch. Liquid soap in the bathrooms would also increase the hygiene factor.

It was in a great location, nice and clean and check in was smooth as was all done online.

We booked a room for 4 people but one person wasn’t able to come so I let the property know there would only be 3. They then let us know that our room was now ‘unfit’ and we would be put in a triple room. I said this was fine as there was still enough room but asked if we would be refunded the difference I was told no as it was the same price. When we arrived we’d actually been moved into a twin room with a floor mattress, I messaged again to say this was not a triple room and would I get a partial refund as we’d paid for 4 beds not two and a mattress on the floor. The hostel messaged me back rather rudely saying we could leave immediately and get a full refund but nothing else. So we ended up paying for a room we didn’t receive. Disappointing service and lost money.

Location was great, very close to the center and just a 15min walk to the bus terminal. The room was ready a bit earlier so we could check-in. We could wait in the common space until it was time to take our bus after check out. The room is nice and clean.

There is no storage for the luggage so one of us had to stay in the hostel at all times before the check-in/ after the check-out to keep an eye on the stuff. There are only a few bathrooms and they are frequently occupied.

The location is great, pretty easy to get to everywhere. The staff is also very friendly. It is definitely a good option for those who don’t have a car because it’s near the bus station so you can easily get anywhere.

In the beginning there was a bad smell coming from outside, but they managed to change the windows so no more bad smell, but the window doesn’t open so no fresh air. The sound isolation is pretty bad, you can hear anyone walking/talking past your door, but considering the value, it’s understandable.

The kitchen was my favourite. Open big space , sort of roofed terrace, so you’re outside but you’re not :) welll equipped. The staff was sweet. I would definitely stay again.

Staff didn’t speak English, but nobody does in Brazil. Our first room Did not have a window so the room wasn’t very pleasant. Our other room had a window and it was much better.

I loved the kitchen. Well equipped and nicely decorated . The staff was nice but didn’t speak English . We arrived late and could just check in without anyone at the reception, that was good.

The first room We got was without window therefore didn’t smell too good. We Changed for a room with shared bathroom which had window and it was better .

An excellent hostel & superb staff. An amazing community terrace. Good, safe location. I initially booked for 2 nights but stayed 6 :)

Staff was very friendly and patient with my limited Portuguese.

Not a major nuisance but whenever the light was on I could hear a motor running in my room (I don’t know the cause).

Stairs difficult with the luggage. Room very small

it was super clean, had great storage in the fridge and was a nice vibe and view from the balcony.
