The hotel is located downtown and you can walk to do most things without needing a car. The facilities are very clean and looks recently renovated/refurbished. The room was spacious and quiet with everything I needed. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was VERY good.

The hotel does not have its own parking lot and I had two options: park on the street or pay for a private parking lot that they recommended. I tried to leave the car in the recommended parking lot, but it was already full, so I had to park the car on the street (it was safe though).

Very well located. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Spoke well in english. Good balance of service and cost. Was a perfect place to stay during the carnival.

The hotel is impeccably clean. Location was very good. Restaurants and the old town all close. Breakfast is great. Lots of choices and very fresh.

It was just about what you would expect from a 4* hotel at this (lower) price range. Spacious rooms, well furnished. Helpful, professional staff. It's located downtown (uphill). There were critics about that the hotel is in need of renovations. I hope they don't, because that would double the price!

The windows. They are low and have no security whatsoever. And the drop is deep!( i was on 8th floor). I wouldn't want to stay there with a young child. One minor inconvenience is that there are no electrical outlets near the beds.

The room was ultra clean, fresh and comfortable. We definitely loved it. The breakfast was amazing and pretty rich.

The staff is always kind, polite and helpful. The place is nicely clean. The breakfast is the Brazilian continental type with fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, sausages in tomato sauce, different kinds of breads and cakes, yogurt and grains, coffee and teas. We had an excellent view of the city centre from our windows and balcony and there was a warm welcoming sunshine inside the room during the afternoon.

AC didn't work. I would have needed it to warm the room up before getting out of bed. There was a historic cold spell those days. Still it wouldn't be a deal breaker.
