The location is stunning, in the middle of two most famous beaches, you can enjoy them both. Also it is a busy street so it is safe to walk there even in night.

In the street there are two building construction sites, just across the street, during the day it is so loud. The other thing is acoustic isolation, it is so bad that you can hear whole sentences people speak in the room next to yours. The most important and my last clue is the place is not cleaned well, when I arrived I went to shower and there was mold on the shower-head, it was disgusting. At the end my stay was fine, since I live in Brazil and it was a few days business trip, but if I had traveled a long distance and had spent my holiday there, it would have been waste of money and time.

If you want the experience shown in the pictures on Booking.com, request to stay in Tower 2 and book the deluxe double room. Additionally, ask for a room in the back. Tower 1 is nothing like the pictures and is very noisy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good.

Some towels are really old and have black spots. Tower 1 is very old and has terrible rooms. All the rooms in the front of the hotel are very noisy due to the traffic on the busy street. If you stay in a deluxe room in Tower 2, it's great.

Anything you ask for is too much. We ordered food online, they tried to scam us ( third party ) eventually they delivered the food hours later when we were away. The only thing we asked for was: Please could you put it in our fridge. The answer was we do not do room service. Just a small detail nothing major. The aircon lived it's own life. The first few nights was good, like artic temperatures. Exactly what the aircon is meant to do. Then it just started to do it's own thing. Switch on and switch off. It would not cool the room down etc. Bathroom gets really hot and no good ventilation

I had an incredible stay. B&B is an inexpensive hotel for the area, but my experience was as good as hotels I’ve stayed in for much more. I stayed in the Deluxe Double, with sound proof balcony doors. They are still renovating more rooms, so the Deluxe is one of the newer rooms. Clean, spacious, beautiful, with a large balcony. the staff was just exceptional and they helped me many times over during my 1 month stay. Hugo, Ivan, Lucas, Isabella are the ones I interacted with most and were always helpful, informative, and kind during my many many questions and requests. There is always someone at the front desk plus a security guard. Silva was amazing. The area is super safe, with 3 beaches within a few seconds walk. several restaurants are across the street, and just around the corner, a grocery store. The hotel has a restaurant, swimming pool, and laundry machines on site. My stay here was one of the best things about Rio

Had a great experience staying here for carnival 2025. Great that the breakfast was open til 11 am for those late nights. Loved having access to fresh water and snacks in the lobby.

Only knock would be the pool (it's fine, nothing to write home about) but you're in Rio -- walk 2 blocks to the beach.

I have stayed there many times in the past. I was very happy to see how the breakfast was now very good! Having a few english speaking television channels was a welcomed feature. My back finally felt better sleeping on a quality mattress. As always, the employees are very nice and helpful! It's still the perfect location.

I wanted to return there next weekend, but they are sold out.

Excellent location, between Ipanema and Copacabana in a safe zone. I was always walking by night. Breakfast was amazing, for only 40 reals, you can eat as much as you like

Maybe too much expensive for a simple room... the WiFi (I was having a room at the end of the corridor) was working bad

the location is excellent. very close one block from the beach . the lobby is cheerful and the staff is very helpful and pleasant . the room is basic . the beds need some updating as it is just a mattress and box spring …I recommend making this nicer looking . the window treatments need updating desperately. otherwise the room is fine. breakfast is great , a variety of bakery goods , eggs , fruits , good coffee teas . pleasant stay overall but some minor updating would make this a super place to stay !

View of the balcony , location and staff were great! 4th floor was a bit moldy and smelled humidity /mold. I think they had some issue or planned renovation. Nevertheless, the staff (Hugo) quickly fixed that without hesitation. Also Vera (in communication through booking.com) was very helpful and fixed up my reservation without additional costs or questions. Actually, this is what i liked the most: If I needed something , the staff solved without further questioning me which is refreshing in Brazil. Sueli who cleaned my room was exceptional and kind.
