Property is in front of copacabana beach. However, you are about 6 min walk to impenema beach. There are tons of restaurants and mini markets behind the property. Uber was great to get around to other areas such as Leblon. Bed and shower as well as aircon was great. Breakfast was fresh and ample.Staff very nice

Breakfast area very tiny. You have to wait for a table sometimes if you are late riser but it’s not a long wait. The pool is small. The roof top beautiful views but small. Stay away from the rooms on the 13th floor that are near the mini bar. It can get very noisy up to 12am. Rm 1304 was right next to the bar followed by 1305,1306. The other rooms were in the back those should be ok. People go to the roof top constantly all hours and have to walk by the rooms mentioned. Tons of noise.

I didn't have opportunity to try breakfast but it looked amazing and seemed very popular with plenty of guests in the restaurant. The room was very clean, neat and tidy, very spacious with most things you'd expect in a hotel of a similar rating. I was surprised at the lack of coffee making facilities in the room - perhaps it's more of a British thing, buy there was nothing for making any kind of hot drink. In their defense I didn't crave a coffee enough to enquire at the front desk and I do know that coffee is available in the communal guest areas; where you would be 'purchasing' a coffee. The shower was amazing, the mini bar prices were the usual over-inflated prices, but interestingly you had to check on the online portal it scan a QR code to get any price lists - though the portal does open immediately after logging in to the complimentary WiFi - which was impressively fast for a hotel of it's size, testing well Above 40+Mb both times I checked. The smart TV was a 'Google TV⁷ setup built in to a relatively budget TCL screen. This meant that actually trying to use it was sometimes painfully slow and with all the power in the room shutting off immediately when you remove your card from the slot on the wall the TV needed a few minutes to get going after each time this happened. The air conditioner worked well, although not the worst, but with a lot of functionality available. Plenty of sockets, including international ones at the desk however only 1 that was close to the bed and that would require you unplugging the lamp - not great if you want to use your device in/on the bed and charge it at the same time.

The hotel is on Copacabana Beach. A perfect location. You can also walk to Ipanema Beach to watch the amazing sunsets . The hotel has a beautiful rooftop area. Serving drinks and having sunbeds and a small pool to relax. The staff at the front desk are wonderful. Helpful and kind and can arrange tours for you. A wide selection of tours . They have a beautiful restaurant where they serve a delicious breakfast, and I found the staff to be respectful and professional. Traveled as a solo traveler and felt very safe in this hotel. Recommend it 👌

Nothing it's perfect

The location was outstanding. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff was very attentive.

No hand cream was provided. Soaps were too small.

Breakfast and location were excellent. Comfort was good, would be excellent with a new set of towels/pillows etc.

Would prefer newer/softer towels and bedding.

We really liked the transit shower room when we arrived at Orla Copacabana, just what we needed after an overnight flight before our room was ready. We liked the cleanliness, staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was all what the reviews said - plenty of choice of fruit, savoury and sweet dishes. Unlimited refills for coffee and tea., Great location just across from the beach. I would recommend this hotel. After the 1st night not getting much sleep because of noise outside the window we were given another, better room with no extra charges.

The location is fantastic - it is right on Copacabana Beach and within walking distance of Ipanema. There is a bike stand belonging to Rio’s bike stand round the corner, which makes for an easy way to get around. The strangely safe and there are many good restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shops around. The room was clean and comfy. The soundproofing wasn’t the best, so I bought some earplugs and this resolved the issue. The showers were nice and powerful. All staff were very helpful. I do not speak Portuguese but there was always an English speaking member of staff on the front desk. I was also able to leave my luggage on the last day as I had an evening flight.

Room and bathroom a bit outdated

Location is amazing and the roof top area with pool and gym are the stand out features of this hotel. I mean really beautiful on the roof. The rooms are what they are, basic at best. Breakfast is pretty good. Apart from one or two people mainly on the night shift, I didn’t find the staff to be particularly helpful and when I asked for 2/3 basic things over a number of days the level of interest or help offered was poor.
