Breakfast was good, you could however, feel how limited the selection is after a couple of days. I would suggest offering a different selection of eggs for example. Location is perfect. Close to the Ipanema, Copacabana and quite central to everywhere else you're likely to go. Room is good but TV poor not that you would need that for a holiday. I will never book a room with an internal view again as the sunlight is very much needed - the rooms are far too dim. Staff are excellent, helpful and kind. Will come back again just to see them. Hotel also offers activities at a good price.

Internal view room not good. Breakfast selection relatively limited but overall menu is good. Room itself is very good, beds are comfy and bathroom good just lack of sunlight not good on the eyes.

Really loved the location (1 block from the Copacabana Beach), and my room was great. The view wasn't the best, but it was toward the street and I could get sunlight. Loved that. I didn't use the pool. The gym is extremely small. I ended up going to Smart Fit using daily passes. It was just a 10 mins walk or less. Overall, what I appreciated about the place is the 1. location, 2. my room was clean and immaculately cleaned each time the housekeeper came. 3. The bed was comfortable and it's definitely a place I would return to.

- The gym: tiny, with three pieces of equipment, maybe. - The breakfast offerings for the cost didn't seem to match. So, I opted to have breakfast at nearby coffee shops.

On arrival, 2 porters came to help with our luggage & again on leaving. Our room ( 303 ) was fabulous with a seaview. The fridge was stocked with water, beers & minerals. We did bring our own travel kettle & iron. The cleaning staff are excellent & very friendly. The hotel is in a great location surrounded with shops, pharmacies, self service laundrette, bars, restaurants and is 30 steps from the Copacabana beach. Ipanema beach is only a 20 minute walk. There is a taxi rank on the corner of the street outside the hotel, but we used Uber, fantastic service. We would highly recommend this hotel

Nothing to not like about this hotel

Windsor Martinique is an exceptional hotel that was a 5 minute walk away from Copacabana beach. The hotel staff was AMAZING! I tried to speak my broken Portuguese and most of the staff speaks English and that made things much easier. Any little thing I needed they were able to accommodate me. The room was amazing for sleeping and relaxing. The TV had hookup for hdmi so I could connect my laptop. They provided Clean sheets and towels daily. They cleaned up whenever I was gone I never even saw the cleaning staff. 10/10 across the board, exactly as advertised plus even more.

I had a wonderful stay at Windsor Martinique Copacabana! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic—just a short walk to Copacabana Beach, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sun and ocean anytime. One thing that made me feel particularly safe was the 24-hour security standing right in front of the hotel. It gave me peace of mind, especially when returning late at night. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and I want to give a special shoutout to Marco at the front desk, who went above and beyond to assist me throughout my stay. When my luggage was lost at the airport, the hotel staff went the extra mile to provide me with essential items to help me get through the first few days—something I truly appreciated. Breakfast was decent, but what really made my stay memorable was the amazing location and the outstanding service from the staff. If you're looking for a comfortable and well-situated hotel in Copacabana with top-notch hospitality, this is a great choice!

Every single member of staff was super friendly, which really made our stay so much better. The room is very nice and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is at a great location, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you for everything!

There could be more dietary options in the breakfast. I’m vegan and there was no milk alternative like soy or oat, only lactose-free, which I can’t have. And no vegan spread alternative, like margarine, there was only butter. Given the high price of the breakfast I believe there could be more options, especially when Rio now offers so much in terms of vegan options everywhere. But that wasn’t a very big deal as there were vegan cafes nearby. I would definitely stay there again, as everything else was great!

The location is fantastic - with the Copacabana right outside and the wonderful sun. It was easy to get around as Uber is so cheap in Rio. The lifts were always functional and you never had to wait long at all. The hotel kept our bags safe as we arrived early until we could check in, and allowed us to get ready in the guest bathrooms. The air con worked well and was very strong.

The TV in our room didn’t work (I.e. there was no satellite or it wasn’t calibrated properly). The breakfast was too expensive to try, but there are other places to eat around the area (although they open later than elsewhere).

Great location seconds from the beach. Reception staff were very welcoming with good English and literally every member of staff I walked past inside the hotel was friendly and offered a warm greeting and a smile. The roof top pool is small but the outside sitting area up there was nice with a bar and the ability to order food there as well as in the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. Air con worked well and it was nice to have a fridge in the room.

My standard room was a little smaller than I expected but still met my needs and was comfortable. I seemed to have an unfortunate room allocation with it being right next to the lifts. Unfortunately this made it quite noisy as I heard the lift going up and down every single time someone pressed the button!I only stayed two nights … after the first night the hotel did offer to change my room for me.

Staff were helpful, apartment cleaned every day, great breakfast choices, brilliant location next to Copacabana, helpful booking a trip to see match at Maracana stadium. Rio has drastically changed since my last visit with regards to safety. We felt really safe on the best beaches in the world Ipanema and Copacabana. We even had an amazing informative trip to Rocinha the biggest Favella. The restaurants were superb and the atmosphere in Rio was brilliant. Smiling and welcoming people.

Nothing all good

I stayed here for five nights. There was security always present in the lobby so I immediately felt at ease and safe in the street. Location is very good as it is near convenience stores and near the beach. I also enjoyed the daily breakfast - Varied choices and there's always crispy bacon, eggs, toast, pancake/waffles and a good selection of fresh fruits. The size of the room was just right and I was able to move around freely even with my luggage. Comfy beds, good water pressure and room lighting. I would highly recommend and I would book here again.
