The convenience to the beach and location was perfect. Dorm rooms are cleaned everyday so everything is very clean

The kitchen utensils could have been more available.. No real communal area to socialize with other travelers. You only get the kitchen although you do in fact have access to the cinema room which is a nice touch. The dorm rooms are very small but it's manageable

I got a room yo myself with a sea view. It made my whole trip. Staying right beside the beach makes life much easier.

As it was a hostel. I would have liked an daily event.Morning volley ball/evening evening drinks.Even daily beach volley ball/Soccer as there are goal posts on the beach for an hour in the morning and then those you want to stay on after volley have a drink/coffee afterwards.Even just have a volleyball and net or Utilise the beach goal posts for an activity. Maybe a member of staff could get the game started for 15 minutes and then it's the attendees responsible to continue and return soccer/volley ball. The air conditioning worked in the room with no issue.

Location is really incredible - just steps from the beach. Rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of Copacabana. Beds were very comfortable and the curtain really lets you feel like you have a bit of privacy in a dorm. The 4 person dorm is spacious and a pleasant environment.

I didn't like that you needed to enter a card into a slot by the door to get the electricity working. If you wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and there isn't a card there, it's quite unpleasant. Also, often when you do enter the card, all the lights go on which can be disruptive to others in the dorm. The 6 person dorm very small and crammed. There wasn't a lot of space for me to store my luggage or to open it to get some of my things which led to me not feeling very comfortable there. The welcome drink is only from 6-7pm which I was never able to get.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. There is also a night market nearby, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro. You can also watch soccer games at a nearby bar. When Rio de Janeiro teams are playing, you can get a feel for the local atmosphere.

When I got back to the hotel, I often found that the room was not available even after I swiped my key card. I had to go down to the lobby every time and have the card re-registered. And you will have to wait a long time for the elevator.

Excellent location, view onto Copacabana was amazing, friendly staff and well-designed rooms - felt very at home.

None of these are big things but if addressed the stay could have been even better: - If it’s a double bed, please provide a double mattress, 2 single mattresses is a bit uncomfortable. - The room was quite loud. Now, with the room facing a famously busy road and beach, this wasn’t a surprise, but some sound proofing measures such as double glazing and ensuring the window could close properly would help some. - Cleanliness - overall cleanliness of the bathroom and bedrooms were good, but the floor should have been swept or vacuumed between guests at least.

Been able to walk across the street on to the beach 👍🏼👍🏼 cleaning staff and reception 👍🏼👍🏼 I'll be back whenever in Rio 😎

No access to the kitchen it was one of the main reason for booking two weeks plus 😏 on my previous visits when it was Selina's one had access!

Excellent location. Staff very kind and polite. Room very conformtable and clean, The Hotel is also a hostel, with shared kitchen and cinema room what is very hand if you need to prepare something inside the kitchen or use microwave or kettle.

The breakfast is provided by a caffe located beside the hotel and it is not a self-service breakfast, only selected items to choose in the menu. One day it was ordered tapioca with zucchine, mushroom and pesto sauce as it was described in the menu and they brought a broken tapioca with no mushroom and no pesto.

The breakfast on the tenth floor was amazing, for service, the food and for the view. But the real strength of the place are the people working in the reception, always willing to help and solve any situation that appeared, they gave great pieces of advice and help me hire a service, the fact that they are 24/7 is a plus, the same for the security people who are attentive and kind. It was a pleasure to be there and I felt very well

I stayed here 2 years ago and was satisfied enough to come back again this year. Location is good and the facilities accommodated all that I needed. The staff were nice and spoke English, which is not taken for granted in Brazilian hostels.

It’s not enough to take off points in my opinion, but the offered tours were quite expensive and it wasn’t that intuitive to find information on them nor to book them. The reception was always very busy with (check in/check out/other queries) guests which made it challenging at most times to get info in general.

The room was spacious and the beds all had curtains. The bathroom was large and the shower had lots of pressure. There was even shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the shower. The included breakfast was great; there were 3 different options. The restaurant on the roof has a great view but it is a little pricy. The kitchen is well stocked with drinking water to refill your water bottle.

The locker above the bed is a little awkward and difficult to lock. I kicked it lots when I was sleeping. The air conditioner in the room is quite loud.
