It was very nice, clean and professionaly ran. The staff were very helpful. The owner was very helpful when i want to take my daughter to the room and he adjusted the booking accordingly. Unfortunately due to connection problems with my foreign sim card i didn't receive his response until late but that's nothing to do with the proper or staff. There was a laundry room downstairs although it was expensive it was efficient.

Not being able to take my daughter to my room when i first arrived. She had her birth certificate with but the staff refused her access. This was the main thing that i was disappointed with on my arrival. I understand security concernes but she had proff she was my daughter. The only other thing was the tv was so dark i could hardly see the picture. I am tech savvy and mad adjustments to settings which had no effect.

✅I liked the friendly staff, the big bedroom with balcony, the 24 hour reception, the facilities (Gym, Swimming Pool & Ferry boat) and the mini shop near reception to buy snacks

❌ I didn’t like that the main cafeteria was in maintenance so no restaurant was available within the building to have dinner! Also the location from Copacabana is far but I already knew this before booking

This place is absolute paradise, we were so lucky to stay here. The room was excellent with a huge and incredibly comfy king size bed. The pool and gym facilities are fantastic and the staff were always helpful and polite. Whenever I return to Rio I will come back.

Having to leave was tough

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Clean and well maintained. Reception staff were great and very friendly and welcoming. Alex in particular was very friendly and very helpful. My next time in Rio I will definitely stay here.

I love the pool was beautiful 😍 the gym was amazing it was in nice area felt very safe I would go back there again

the coffee machine I bought 2 packs of coffee and they were to big for the machine

Had a great time staying in the Plaza first class. The staff were amazing, an extremely friendly and safe area with plenty of shops , cafes and bars to keep you entertained within the secure area. Would recommend.

The room needed some maintenance but it was really decent, with some small renovation and decoration would be perfect

The location was great! Conveniently located between two great malls with lots of restaurants in them. Host was very responsive!

The staff in the lobby needs costumer service and hospitality training urgently! Keys had to be reprogrammed daily and any request felt like an issue to be fulfilled.

the pool and the gym is great why I stayed

I have stayed last 2 years in carnival and I have seen a large decline in the hotel. I have been a fan of the hotel even thought about purchasing a unit for myself glad i didn't make the mistake. The flat guess are at the mercy of the host and there workers. The cleaning lady came early in the morning around 9:00am. Constantly and I wake up around 11 or 12 the same time. I had several times where I didn't get my place clean from Thursday to Monday getting new sheets and towels became a battle. So I will no longer stay there any more
