Great hotel and excellent location right on Copacabana Beach.

In the spa, the three jacuzzis were outdated, dirty and didn’t work properly. One didn’t operate at all. Another one had no jets working, and the third one had two jets working, but very weakly. I don’t believe that this is the image that the Copacabana Hilton wants to portray. We were also surprised that our breakfast was not included in our rather pricey room rate.

Great hotel, the view is very nice, and the rooftop was very cool. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very friendly.

There was a wine stain in the sheet, had to ask twice to have it changed, and they came when my baby was asleep, then did not come again.

The place was great, location, safety, accessibility, breakfast was a bit basic but everything was in a perfect condition and the flavour was good .

The only problem I can find with this hotel is the beach and some of the facilities, the hotel facilities are just a bit old, in a good state but a tiny bit old. Which doesn’t make it a huge problem, the one thing I have to address is how dirty the beach is, yes I know Copacabana is a dirtier beach but it was just surprising how much garbage there was in the floor, sadly where the Hilton sun chairs were placed in.

Sergio, the expert omelette maker, was a one man operation. He made perfect omelettes every time. Wish he had an assistant so that we was not so busy, I’m sure everyone who started the day with his omlettes would say only the most complementary statements. The other breakfast selections were great as well. Thayna, also was remarkable in remembering me. She greeted my wife and I each morning as if she had known us forever. We were not faceless people in the crowd. We also were given nice tables for breakfast. She even taught us some simple words in Portuguese. The foregoing Hilton ambassadors should be recognized for their contribution to the company brand and their demonstration of outstanding service, knowledge and enthusiasm.

Great location right on Copacabana beach. The hotel felt safe. Great buffet breakfast. Lovely swimming pools x 2. Both heated. Our room had a great view. Family rooms available.

It was a bit expensive for what it was. The toilet cistern in our room was faulty - it overflowed. Plumber came to fix it when we reported it on day one. However it wasn’t a perfect fix and kept making strange noises and occasionally overflowing. For the price I suppose you expect it to be perfect so you notice these little annoyances a bit more. Breakfast was good but some days the queue at the omelette station took half an hour. Some people ordering several for their whole table. Needs a better system.

Room was small, but the view was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is one of the best in Rio. They offer a big selection so there is something for everyone. It is big hotel so expect to see it always crowded in the lobby and during breakfast time. For first time visitors to Rio, this would be an excellent choice. The location is not far from some of the best restaurants, Copacabana beach, pharmacy, and 10 minute walk to a mall. Wifi connection is good.

Overcrowded but quality wasn't sacrificed. Rooms were a bit small but beds were extra comfy. You can hear the sounds of the elevators from the room all day, not too disturbing except if you are very sound sensitive. You may need to tell them to give you a room far from the elevator.

Ocean facing room was quiet, despite being across from the busy beach. Breakfast food was varied. Spa was good - reasonably priced massage. Rooftop pool and bar both nice. Air conditioning in room was effective as were blackout curtains. We were allowed to check in early which was wonderful, given the overnight flight to get to Rio. Easy to access the main sights with Uber

"Hot food" at breakfast limited and on the cold side. Breakfast juices were disappointing in quality. The price we paid was a bit expensive (£330/night) but probably due to high demand (end of Rock in Rio festival and an international naval conference) - a fair price would be around half what we paid for the room. Wife really rated the croissants at breakfast.

As it's a very large hotel, the check-in and check-out process was lengthy, but rather smooth. The room was spacious, good amenities, great view. The breakfast included diverse offerings, fresh ingredients, mainly good bread in Rio. The location of hotel is one of the best in Rio.

You expect some items like slippers and bathrobes to be available in a 5* hotel! None was available. The breakfast hall is definitely too small for a big hotel with lots of guests. It was always crowded and challenging. The lobby was not as clean as expected from a 5* Hilton! The room furniture were really old, the bathroom also needed a nice renovation.

Room with the view was spectaculor. The location facing the beach meant it was one of my favourite hotel room views alone, ever. There is a swimming pool area on the rooftop which you can sit around and relax. Breakfast options were fairly standard but enough for one's needs. Staff were helpful as needed.

The gym area is quite small so gets overcrowded with more than 4 people. I would highly recommend Hilton works on expanding the space for the long term. Also the room cards stop working intermittently and I noticed it happen to several other people. Upgrading in that technology would be helpful as it saves you from trips 30 floors down to get it fixed.
