I loved this place. A great location, a tranquil spot, with lots of good restaurants nearby, but still only 10 minutes' walk from the Historic Centre, Pelourinho. It's only 6-7 rooms so has a lovely intimate family atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent and served on a covered balcony with superb views down over the Lower Town to the ocean. The staff were super friendly and competent, from the owner, Vitor, to the manager, Val, and the 2 delightful women who looked after the kitchen and the rooms. It was really worth paying that little extra to get one of the rooms with a balcony that had a great seaview. I finished staying on for a week. Highly recommended!

I will 100% come back! The pousada is beautiful, the views over the port and bay incredible (sunset views unreal). The breakfast very good and complete, lots of nice brazilian treats. Location is perfect. Honestly it was better than I thought, especially with regards to safety. We felt safe to walk around the neighbourhood, with our phone, bags, etc. It is a residential neighbourhood with many cute stores, cafés, small bars and good places to eat.

Beija Flor is located in my favorite neighbourhood of Salvador. Close enough to touristy Pelourinho, but far enough to get away from the crouds. It's a rather artsy neighbourhood with lots of galeries and interesting restaurants. Welcome was very warm and friendly. Felt right at home. The room was beautifully decorated as the whole pousada was. Breakfast was perfect with a view over the port and some relaxing ambient music. I was deeply impressed by the owners good taste in music <3. The owner, her mother and the employees were incredibly friendly. It was a nice surprise that I was asked by check-out if everything has been ok. The owners are open to critique and keen on giving the visitor the best possible experience. I was sad to leave after just one day, because I felt like home. Muito obrigada !

We loved every single detail of our stay at Pousada Beija Flor! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Located in the heart of Pelourinho, the location is perfect for exploring the vibrant charm of Salvador. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with delicious and fresh options every morning. A special shoutout to the owner, Val, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed—she’s truly a sweetheart! We will definitely return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this little gem!

The room was very nice...the best part was definitely the balcony and hammock with an amazing view of the water and sunset. Breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The staff members were all nice, but a little distant. A big part was definitely my fault, since I don't speak Portuguese. There were some difficult moments, such as a staff member coming into my room to check for something (which I couldn't understand). I recommend staying if you are fluent in the language! (I will study more before I visit next time!)

The old world charm. The morning host was super sweet. The night bellman was kind and helpful. the Location was great. The wood floors and furniture is beautiful and the room balcony is spacious. Loved the morning puppy!

cleaners did not clean our room when requested. had to ask the night bellman to do it. The furniture underneath the bed and shelves and back of nightstands held many cobwebs. Breakfast was just ok.

Top location with a very nice breakfast (everyday there is something new). The staff is great with awesome recommendations.

We got the triple room as we booked, to be noted that it is an interior room with 2 windows giving to a interior light (and noise) points. We found the room not too comfortable, especially the bed and a very noisy air conditioning. The owner mentioned that the room will be renovated soon - we saw her passion and willingness to always improve.

We were very happy with our choice, Pousada Beija Flor is located on one of the coolest streets in Salvador with preserved and colorful houses, full of nice shops and restaurants, and a lively nightlife. It was my first time in the neighborhood, will recommend to anyone going to Salvador. The bedroom has a perfect size, was very clean, well decorated and it offers a nice breakfast with a view to the bay. Would love to come back 😊

I love how the owner made an effort in designing the bedroom, hallways and areas around the pousada. Very cozy. There's a 24 hr worker that recieves latecomers. Sufficient breakfast. Nice area not far from the center.I forgot to thank the owner the first time we booked and cancelled due to death in the family. She returned our money even though a non - cancellable booking. We booked the following year and enjoyed the stay! Thank u!

A wonderful place in the heart of Salvador! Excellent to spend couple of days in the charming historical city. The pousada is very comfortable, clean and quite despite being located in a very busy night-life area. Breakfast in the terrace is amazing and the staff is very kind. I would definitely recommend it
