Impossible to be in a better location in Salvador - right at the heart of the action in Pelourinho, everything we did was walking distance (max 10 mins)! The room had everything you would need, very big, good AC. The staff were super proactive, giving absolutely fantastic recommendations, and helping us to arrange a taxi, etc. Really warm, friendly, and efficient! Would highly recommend this pousada, and would definitely stay here again in my next trip to Salvador!

This is a really nice hotel literally on one of the main squares in Salvador. That is a blessing - because you have the sights of the city on the door step - but it also means the street can be incredibly noisy. We were unlucky to be there during a festival which kept us up, but the hotel could not do anything about that! Worth considering location when planning your trip during busy times of year. Other than this, excellent. Staff were full of helpful tips and generally friendly. Breakfast delicious. The room comfortable and luxurious. Bora Bahia!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pousada Solar dos Deuses, and it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. The room itself is simple but it was cozy. I took amazing pictures from its balcony. What truly sets Pousada Solar dos Deuses apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The level of service provided was nothing short of amazing. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their genuine friendliness and eagerness to assist created a welcoming atmosphere that made my two-night stay truly memorable. The location of the hotel proved to be another highlight. Conveniently situated, it offered easy access to local attractions, dining, and entertainment options. Whether I was exploring the nearby landmarks or simply strolling through the surrounding area, the central location of the hotel added a significant level of convenience to my stay. In conclusion, my time at Pousada Solar dos Deuses was a delightful surprise that exceeded my expectations. I left with a sense of gratitude and a 100% certainty that I will return in the future.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Pousada is located perfectly in the old town. Close to the restaurants. We had a nice time. The room was very clean, but with a kind of smell, most probably coming from the old furniture. Breakfast was OK, a bit limited, we got eggs, confiture, and other things, but only 2 tiny rolls for that, but maybe we didn't understand the order rules.

Great hotel, with beautiful spacious rooms. Great location. Front desk guys were very nice, as well as the cleaning ladies.

Unfortunately no elevator, but the front desk guys did help bring up the luggage.

Very nice Pousada full of personality in the rooms' decoration, and great views of the Pelourinho from the bedroom windows. Folk at the front desk (Alfredo?) and room service (Sandra?) were super nice & helpful. The rooms were lovely and comfortable (they were tastefully refurbished some years ago), the breakfast served in the room was great, and the location was central in the Pelourinho (historical district). There were bars and restaurants close by, as well as all the historical attractions. The front desk kept our bags in storage for a few hours after we checked out, so that was also helpful.

Would have been nice to have a gym or pool, but hard to find that in the cramped quarters of the Pelourinho. You need to go up some stairs with bags to check in.

Amazing Posada in old style. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Pousada located right in the old center of Salvador so it's very convenient to enjoy the old historical center of the town staying safe. Room was spacious and clean, decorated in a colonial-like old style with a balcony to enjoy the Santana square. Homemade breakfast was delicious and abundant with a touch of Bahia cuisine every morning. Highly recommended place to stay and enjoy the Nazare area

Overall no any issues or complains. Be aware that this Pousada located in the old center so it can be extremely noisy from street performers till late hours on weekends.

Would be nice to have coffee/tea machine in the room for the mornings - though you can order breakfast to the room the day prior (incl coffee, juice etc).

I would absolutely recommend the stay. The room looked just like in the pictures, very clean. The location is super central, easy to walk around, observe the historic places, shop for souvenirs or go out for dinner/drink. The staff is super helpful, speaks english very well, is attentive and also gives great recommendations regarding what to see or do, and how to realize further plans after leaving the accommodation.
