Hotel is very nice including staff. It is clean and our room was also silent, however room was not facing main street

I didn't like bathroom being part of the room meaning not fully separated by doors (e.g. hand-wash basin is not separated by door). This may be ok if you are traveling alone and using single room. But in case you are 2, and for example, one is waking earlier, washing hands/tooth in the morning will wake up person you are sharing room with. So we found this one a bit inconvenient.

Maison Sofia is truly exceptional—it exceeded all my expectations. The staff is professional, friendly, and fluent in English. My room was stylish, spacious, and incredibly comfortable—the bed was pure bliss. I was especially impressed by the spa services. I tried them all, including a Relaxation Massage with Alexander, who worked wonders on my pain points. The restaurant, barista service, and overall dining atmosphere were outstanding. Everything was spotless, and the 24-hour front desk was always helpful. Most of all, I appreciated the impeccable customer service. My request for a quiet room was honored, allowing me to rest and recharge before my long journey back to the U.S. I’m deeply grateful to the entire team. When I return to Sofia, I’ll absolutely stay at Maison Sofia again—it’s a truly magical place! Let me know if you'd like a shorter version for a review platform like TripAdvisor or Google.

Everything was fine. Nice room on a higher floor, good pool and sauna environment. The hotel gave me a room as requested in the description.

Staff was lovely, very friendly, and willing to help with anything you need. Facilities were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the balcony with the small table was nice to read or for having tea in the afternoon. Spa and pool are great also for relaxing and having a good time. Breakfast offers a lot of options and food at restaurants is good quality and price.

Not a problem for us at all but hotel is aprox 10min from city centre, however if you like, its possible to take walks in the park nearby or moving using taxi which is cheap and convenient, staff at reception can kindly help with that. Sofia is a very safe city.

Beautiful interior of the hotel and room. Delicious and rich buffet breakfast. Clean rooms, kind and helpful staff.

Unfortunately there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drain, but nothing too dramatic, just need to air out when entering. The massages proces are a bit wild for Sofia.
