Overall a great value hotel. Staff were fun and very helpful, If you need a budget hotel close to many amenities and great street food. It's a bustling area that will appeal to people looking for the real taste of Cambodia. Will be staying again.

The Internet in the room was a bit intermittent. However the staff worked to get it fixed and it worked in the end. Technology can be a bitch.

Much Improved ~ Recommended! I lived in Phnom Penh for almost a year in 2021 and go back every six months or so. This is my second stay at Empire House and I mentioned to them that the interior and ambiance is much improved since June 2023. They said the new owner is constantly upgrading. I was pleasantly greeted when checking in and also noticed that there seemed to be more staff, in general, tending to things around the hotel during my stay. Security, comfort and the cleanliness of the room are all important to me. There was a guard at night and a hotel clerk downstairs 24/7. Staff was kind and attentive. My room was large, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe. I am impressed with the combination of quality and price - a little over $16/night. And this includes a/c and a TV. I gotta say, for a big city like Phnom Penh, this place is a great find. I’d have expected to pay more. Thank you for offering a nice hotel at a great rate. I enjoyed my stay and will choose Empire House again.
