We had a great stay at G Mekong Hotel in Cambodia, and the staff made our experience even better. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready with tips and advice for exploring Cambodia, which was especially appreciated as it was our first day in the country. The room was clean and comfortable, though the glass bathroom was a bit of an interesting design choice. There is a blind you can pull down for privacy, which might work well for couples, but it felt a little awkward. The pool was lovely, with pool towels provided, and it was a great spot to relax and watch the sunset. The gym was also much better than most hotel gyms we visited in Southeast Asia. It had free weights and a bench. The cable machine was in poor condition and in need of serious maintenance, as it felt quite worn and potentially unsafe - even if you wanted to use this, it doesn't work as the cables are so worn. The hotel’s location was convenient, with plenty of nearby dining options, convenience stores, and amenities. While it’s a bit further from the river, it was within walking distance of the museum and easy to reach from the airport. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future

I had a fantastic stay at the G Mekong Hotel. One of the highlights was the rooftop swimming pool—such a great spot to relax and enjoy the views. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The hotel’s restaurant was also excellent, serving delicious food with plenty of great options to choose from. Every meal I had was well-prepared and full of flavor. What really made my stay special, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome. Overall, G Mekong Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I’d definitely love to return!

Great hotel with fantastic, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Not too far from a lot of locations which were only a short tuk tuk ride away

Unfortunately the shower drain was fairly blocked so I ended up standing in water that took a long time to drain after I’d finished. One of the sockets by the bed didn’t work which was mildly inconvenient. I felt sorry for the poor girl who was working the front desk when I checked in, it seemed to be just her and she was rushed off her feet with 3 customers to help and the phone ringing - the poor young woman could have done with some help! Otherwise everything was fantastic

I liked the hotel's cleanliness and the staff were so helpful, very comfortable beds.. When we first arrived we had a problem with the noise , Reaksa was super helpful and helped us resolve the problem immediately. Very good customer service. The breakfast is great and I cannot say enough good things about their chicken noodle soup! we had it every morning that we were there. The location is about a 12 minute walk to the Mekong promenade. Nice rooftop pool with happy hours.

It would have been nice to have a bar in the lobby where we could sit and enjoy the happy hour.

Once you walk inside the hotel you know. It is a hidden gem. The decor, the service, the cleanliness and the staff was exceptional. Especially for us, Ms. Nisa. She was warm and accommodating. We had a very short stay but I was so grateful and happy to work with her in planning our abbreviated stay. She arranged every detail with a close eye...traveling between cities(Phnom Penh to Souhinoukville Port) then on to Koh Rong Sanloem was seamless and arranged a half day city tour with an english speaking guide. For us, I cannot sing her enough praise. When we return to Cambodia, we're staying right here.🙏

This is our 3rd stay, and the building has lovely character & decor. Their staff is friendly & helpful with anything you need. Evening lighting really pretty.

Rooms seem to be maintained quite well, but there is some general lack that we noticed this time. It’s mostly small things needing some very easy attention to change. All windows & some walls need a good clean. Also, the pool area needs some help. It is a very popular area, but not enough loungers, tables, shade, and chairs. Some people spread their towels on the cement floor.

Hotel with friendly staff and a good location. Nice and quiet in the rooms, with a very comfortable bed. Rooftop pool was clean with a great bar and friendly bartender. This was already far more than we expected, especially for the price. The hotel had everything that you could want including a spa, restaurant and gym which we didn’t take advantage of.

Nothing! If I’m being really fussy the only thing was the laundry service was quite expensive as they charge by item and not by weight, but if that really an issue just drop your laundry off at one of the many nearby laundromats.

We mainly just used the room and lobby. The massage was good too. They provided us with a vehicle of our choice and arranged a tour too for reasonable rates, though they got the start timing of the palace wrong by an hour. All staff very polite, friendly and always apologetic for their mistakes

This is not the hotels fault but when we booked with Booking. come the price was cheaper and included breakfast. Instead of getting our genius discount we ended up paying more and the breakfast was also not included. We have not yet heard back from Booking.com when we questioned this. Price issue was there in the other bookings too. Be careful and match the price when you book with their conformation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at G Mekong during business trip to phnom penh, i must say, it was outstanding experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, making sure every aspect of my stay was very comfortable. The service throughout my visit was impeccable, with attention to details that made me feel value as a guest. The wifi was fast and reliable, which was crucial for my business needs. i had no issues with the connectivity. Additionally, the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options.

First impressions was a little surprising as front entrance was closed due to renovation so did have that moment of what have I done! But once inside it was a lovely clean comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and so helpful. The pool is small but more than adequate. We were super close to riverside and Royal place and plenty of mini supermarkets and restaurants even tho there was a few langue barriers.

The only issue was they failed to pick us up from airport even tho it was arranged prior.
