The staff at Sofitel were the standouts. From Sim at reception, Vutha the head concierge, Moni who assists the GM to Kim Lay at breakfast. Fantastic extra mile level service! Sprawling and quiet grounds. Breakfast was brilliant. Great spread. We got goodies for home conveniently at the adjacent Aeon Mall. The hotel buggy brought us there every time. Complimentary drinks on arrival and in the room including snacks were a nice touch. We went around by tuk tuk ordered via Grab. Very convenient.

There were a number of facility issues which were fixed quickly and efficiently. From faulty wall USB panel to loose bathroom hook to creaky beds. It would have been better if the bath gel and shampoo dispensers were installed on the same side as the shower. It was installed on the opposite bathroom wall. Had to turn around each time to get a refill.

The facilities were beautiful and the staff was amazing. We booked a family suite and my kids were delighted to find a small reading tent, stuffed animals and cupcakes waiting for them in "their" room. The Japanese restaurant was absolutely fantastic and one of the best meals we've had at a fraction of the price we would pay at home.

The Manager (cannot recall his name, he is of Philippines nationality), who oversees the Lounge. He was extremely helpful and warmth, love his service and personality.

Swimming pool and gym was quite a distance from the room.

The best carpaccio ever...... The grandeur of the hotel, we really felt welcome by entering the lobby. It was a bit overwhelming. Beautiful big lobby, very atentive always smiling staff, everybody is in for a little talk. The gardens, the hotel, it all looked really nice. For us it was a privilige staying with you.

The noise volume of the airco

Staff were very polite and friendly and always wanted to help. Very comfortable rooms and great outdoor pool and tennis courts. Easy to get transport.

Lovely rooms

Not much character outside areas. Not really worth the jump in nightly rate compared to some fabulous value for money hotels in Phnom Penh.

Very courteous and friendly staffs, from front counter to service. Hotel is well kept and got style. Bed is comfy and toilet is clean. Location is excellent, next to Aeon shopping mall. Allowed early check in as we arrived early at 11am and late checkout as our flight is in the late afternoon

Rooms in particular bathrooms dated, noisy fan and air con. Didn’t like swim coach telling guests to move out of their lessons way. Hot dog at sports club bad.

"Over the Top" Hotel. One of the Top# hotels I have ever stayed at in my life - and certainly the nicest hotel in Phnom Penh
