• I know the family that runs Bun Kao Guest House and have stayed there several times over the past 20 years. Wonderful, most helpful people! • It's listed on Google Maps and so is easy to take a tuk-tuk there. • There was a table and chair to use with my laptop.

There were some little ants running around. Not much of a problem but I was afraid they would nest in my laptop.

Lovely people taking care of you. The room was big enough. A little far from the center but the walk is nice near the river.

It could have been more clean... For example, the mirror in the bathroom was dirty. I wonder what else wasn´t clean?

The owner and his family are super helpful and made our time in Siem Reap really memorable. The rooms are spacious, with good comfy beds, there’s hot water in the shower. We hired bikes to get around the city and spent a lot of time sitting in the grand balcony watching the world go by.

My bathroom can do with a makeover, it looks quite dated and needs some love.

Friendly people, the cutest little dog, quiet area, but still some nice food options around. Good location if you plan to rent a scooter and visit the temples/the town on your own. Last but not least, got a free upgrade to a bigger room upon arrival

For the price, I was more than happy

Possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s not fancy, but it’s super clean, quiet, authentic + the host and the stuff are absolutely amazing. You feel comfortable and very welcomed there. Can’t wait to come back when I’m in the city again

Super friendly owner: he even opened the gate at 5.45 for my early arrival with the night bus. Quiet area with small supermarket and restaurant nearby .

Only problem: the toilet bin wasn't emptied on my arrival and during my stay. Especially when it's warm that is a point of concern.

So affordable! Great value for getting a clean, basic room with a private bathroom and hot water shower in Siem Reap. It's the right distance from the main downtown--still within walking distance but quiet. Getting to Angkor Wat from here is very easy. The host helped me rent a scooter and it was a 20min ride from the hostel to the temples. They have drinking water, fridge space and a a hot water dispenser on the first floor.

The breakfast wasn't worth the money. It was fairly basic and not filling. I found myself wishing it was half the price since I'd gotten full meals for the same price in the same area.

They gave me a room with an extra bed for the same price. The staff were very polite and friendly, always smiling. I rented a scooter there at a very reasonable price. I will be back!

Loved the balcony - comfortable chairs, and so much vegetation. Staff were very good, very polite and very thorough. Good location - quiet street with a friendly, relaxed shop next door that sold everything you could need. Easy walk down to the river.

Very friendly family runs this place. They upgraded me to a bigger room because they were filling up. Short walk to some fun areas of Siem Reap. Great local food nearby.

Fan kept the room fairly cool, but AC would be nice
