The saltwater pool was clean, warm, and well-maintained, with towels provided. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. The location was quiet and convenient, and the room we eventually got was spacious.

We had to switch rooms three times because the ones we were initially given were far below the standard of what we had booked—old furniture in poor condition and not clean. It wasn’t until we requested to speak with the manager that we were given the room we had reserved. The mattress was very firm and uncomfortable, and the breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options. Definitely not a 5-star hotel experience.

The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful! We felt very much welcomed here. The room was good apart from the idea to place shower and toilet in the bedroom with only a glass door. Especially in a twin room that was not so nice to have... The hotel location was great they had restaurants and shops around the corner and it's close to angkor wat. We rented e bikes at the hotel that was perfect!! The breakfast buffet was great and fresh. The pool was really nice too especially after a long day in the temples.

The bathroom is integrated in the bedroom. If one person uses it at night the light in the while room is on. Every sound is public and we had to hang towels Infront of the glass doors to get a little privacy. I really didn't like that. And the WiFi didn't really work. Apart from that it's a great hotel!

Staff are outstanding! Room is beautiful, large and has everything except hot water for the shower. We also had a tub but never hot water to fill it. But…. We can overlook the temperature of the water as everything else was excellent! The awesome large pool with lots of lounge chairs, the outstanding staff and the amazing food at their restaurant that we had for breakfast made the cool water in the shower worth the stay. We can’t thank the staff enough for going above and beyond. Lots of waves, smiles and so very helpful.

Lack of warm water.

We enjoyed our 25 night stay at Damrei. The room was large and comfortable, the staff endlessly polite and ready to help. The breakfast was more than adequate. A bonus being an egg station and sometimes fresh noodle soup. The location was an easy 20 minute walk along the river into town, and the old market and pub street. Tuk tuk's always available. We have visited Siem Reap three times and hope to be back next year. We will probably stay at Damrei.

Post Covid everything needs upgrading. This can't be done without people going and spending their money to allow this to happen. We don't really have any gripes, except no hot water in the bathroom sink. We didn't mention it as it wasn't really a problem for us.

The size of the room was exceptional, so big and with a nice terrace overviewing the pool. The location was in a quiet street so no sound at night, however it was still very close to the river and walking distance to the old market area. There was a supermarket nearby and the coolest little family shops and laundry services where you can conveniently do laundry and buy last minute meals and snacks. There were also many restaurants nearby. The hotel also had a spa and the massage I had there was spectacular. The breakfast was also satisfactory with a very dedicated staff and varied choices.

The TV was not tuned properly and there were hardly any visible channels. But I did not come to Siem Reap to watch TV so it was not even a problem.

Overall, the hotel is excellent, we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. The room was spacious and stylish, nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely but there is no gym anymore. The landscaping at the front of the hotel was lovely and calming and the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

The property was a little tired in places, needed a bit of repainting, especially the wall by the pool. This did not ruin our stay, just an observation concerning the feel of the place. We were some maintenance issues with the plug sockets and switches in our room, some did not work.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they will help organise any trips for you including a Tuk Tuk driver to go where / when you want and for how long. You can stop off at the Temple ticket office on the way no problem and travelling independently looked cheaper anyway. Excellent breakfast you can try Cambodian mixed fried rice etc, or be less adventurous with Muesli fresh pastries and delicious local fresh fruit. Really good sleep in large comfortable bed in a quiet spotlessly clean room, useable balcony and free fast wifi, no problem watching movies. English speaking Tuk Tuk drivers always available outside. Power sockets accept multiple types of plugs including UK.

It would have been even better if the Restaurant was open in the evening after a long hot day Tomb Raiding, but there are so many exciting places to eat nearby if you're not tired and lazy.

Staff were incredibly helpful and could take you through the range of options for trips during your stay. The room was really well kept and furnished. The pool was very welcome. Location was ideal - on the quieter side of the river away from the madness of pub street, but still close enough to see everything. Laundry can be done by a shop just over the road.

WiFi was ok for web browsing but had to tether to my phone for conference calls

The bed wasn't very comfortable.Buffet breakfast only at weekend otherwise limited. Only instant coffee. Difficult to evaluate the hotel as it poured with torrential rain my whole stay

Great location in Siem Reap but also very peaceful in the evening. Very welcoming and friendly staff with a fantastic housekeeping service. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was cleaned each time with fresh towels and complementary water, tea and coffee. Good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Everything was spot on.
