An Oasis of Tranquility I’ve travelled to the UK, Europe, the USA and throughout SE Asia and this property is probably my all time favourite hotel. It is just perfect in every way!!! The property is lovingly set amongst several huge Banyan trees and combined with the beautifully maintained tropical gardens, it feels like you’re in the midst of a peaceful rainforest. The sense of tranquillity is everywhere. The rooms are tastefully well furnished to maximise functionality and are very spacious. The walk-in shower is large and luxurious. The staff are super friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble in attending to your every comfort. Special thanks must go to Sibot, the amazing restaurant supervisor – such a gracious and professional hostess. The food and drinks are excellent quality and value and the breakfast is superb. There is a rooftop bar/restaurant that provides a great view over the river, with an amazing Happy Hour from 5pm to 7 pm. I’ve spent many years working in hospitality and this property exceeds most 5 star venues. The best value and experience in Siem Reap! Everything is perfect!

The position was great. The pool area very nice.

As we were coming to a 5 star resort the expectations were high, I stayed in different places around the world and in Siem Reap (3x). I didn’t felt like being in a super special place. The breakfast , even if I don’t eat much in the morning , from my point of view was poor for such a structure. We had a massage , me and my son, it was good! Worth the money ? Not really. Sorry for that. Late evening I asked for a glass of milk and honey, they brought me small glass of milk and NO honey! It was to treat my throat. In the early morning , I had to bring my luggage to the taxi. It’s ok but from a resort like this expectation are different.

The cleanliness of the resort is impeccable, providing a spotless and well-maintained environment that speaks volumes of the staff’s dedication to excellence. The staff at the resort deserve special mention for their warmth and helpfulness. They go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and attended to, offering personalized service that adds a touch of home to the travel experience.

However, the resort’s buffet, while offering a range of delectable dishes, falls short in diversity. Guests with adventurous palates might find the options somewhat limited, missing an opportunity to fully explore the rich culinary heritage of Cambodia. Additionally, in an era where connectivity is key, the resort’s internet stability is a concern. Guests may find themselves disconnected at times, which can be a significant inconvenience, especially for those needing to stay in touch with work or loved ones.

This hotel was perfect. There was not a single thing wrong with this stay. The hotel is beautiful, the location is amazing. everything is clean and tidy. The staff are SO friendly and approachable and well organised. When we told them we were going on the sunrise Angkor Wat tour they arranged breakfast baskets for us to take with us! We had massages at their spa and they were amazing. The Masseuses were great and also so warm and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap, and I hope to come back again myself one day.

The only thing that could be better would be more Vegetarian options. But that being said, there were a few options and that is more that some places!

Staff, lead by Mean, was to a person, excellent. Very friendly, always greeting us, always asking what they can do for us. Breakfast was also excellent, again, with impeccable service staff and food. Rooms were spacious, modern, and very clean. A quietness blanketed the property. Outside, there were friendly tuk tuk drivers, always available, but not overly aggressive, as is often the case in a tourist town. The hotel is located in a picturesque part of town, with easy walking to many restaurants and "attractions". If not walking, a tuk tuk ride most anywhere was $3 without haggling. The "sky bar" restaurant had live music Friday and Saturday nights. It, unfortunately, was lightly attended while we were there. The Happy Hour special 2 for 1 drinks were exceptionally inexpensive. Cut off the endless peanuts before you forget to have dinner. The spa had a very professional vibe and strong masseuses. Recommended!

Tough one - can't think of a thing.

Loved the gardens and decorations. You felt really secluded and matched the style of the temples we were there to see.

We wished the pool closed at 10:00 pm. We had very full days and if closed at 10:00pm then could have had time to swim a little. It looked very inviting.

The food in the restaurant was really good. Definitely a must during your stay. The pool and the installations are great, definelty the place you want to ve after a long day visintig the temples. The best part: the staff. Everybody was super friendly and professional.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this resort. Room was great, it was spacious, bed was comfy and it was very clean. I dined in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and also enjoyed delicious cocktails at the pool bar and the Sky bar. The location felt great for everything I wanted to do. Close enough to walk to Pub Street and the Night Markets, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. I also had a massage at their Nirvana spa - amazing! The best part about this place though is easily the people. All are amazing, friendly and so respectful. It was a pleasure to talk to them each day. A couple of special call outs. Frank on the front desk looked after me the minute I arrived and nothing was too much trouble for him. Channy was great to talk to at the Pool Bar and provided great service. I got sick with food poisoning from outside food and Sibot in the dining area recommended a number of things to make me feel better. Another staff member whose name escapes me checked up on me when I was unwell. And last but not least, Vichamean, you’re amazing. Took me to the hospital, checked up on me, just went so far above and beyond what you expect from a hotel stay. I really appreciate it.

I would only be nit picking - very minor things - it’s a bit strange to need to open 2 doors to then open the mini fridge. - I wonder if you could do more to fix the view of the room. By that I mean I constantly had curtains closed as room looked right out into pool, and people were sitting a couple of metres away. Maybe something so you can see out and no one can see in?

The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Couldn't believe how nice they were. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good quality bedsheets and towels. Perfect location and a lot of greenery on the property.

The vibe of this place is exactly what we were looking for, with its lush tropical surroundings it felt like a real oasis in Cambodia. The maturity of some of the plants and trees really add to the whole ambiance of this place. Add to this the remarkable staff and facilities, it really was a hotel stay we will always remember and always use as a comparison when we stay at other hotels in other places, for example we’ve travelled from Siem Reap to Ko Samui and we’re feeling home sick for our perfect room at the Lynnaya Urban River Resort. Honestly just exceptional and it will always add to our fond memories of Cambodia. Hopefully we can return again soon 😊🌴
