This hotel is situated close to the centre of Siem Reap, but it is one of the quietest locations and the design makes it feel more of a resort than a hotel in a busy tourist town. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the cuisine outstanding, and the pool, gym, spa and bar everything one could wish. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. A tuk tuk to all the attractions (Pub Street, markets and restaurants) is only a couple of dollars, and the FCC is within walking distance of the Royal Residence, the Museum, and the Made in Cambodia market. Naturally, the temples are a main attraction, and the staff do everything to facilitate a tour. Highly Recommended.

breakfast was lovely and the staff were all very pleasant and friendly. The pool and surrounding garden was beautiful - pool never too busy either.

We stayed in the heritage courtyard room. It was in a nice peaceful location but the actual design of the room was not so great on account of having the bed in the middle of the room - ie no bedside table (you had to reach behind you to the desk to put coffee cup or water glass. Small reading lamp was totally obscured by the pillow so no proper bedside light. Also the layout meant you had to come out of the shower and dress in the doorway of the room pretty much. Also lacking in space to store any clothing and no space around basin for toiletries etc. So this particular design of room leaves a bit to be desired - I am sure some of the other rooms are better. However, we appreciated the peaceful location and the room was not overlooked.

As a solo traveller, I booked FCC Angkor as a home base in luxury from which to explore Siem Reap. My room was unequivocally beautiful, despite the last minute booking, and my welcome to the hotel was nothing short of superb. Verena, who greeted me upon arrival, was incredibly warm and welcoming - without hesitation, she helped arrange a tour guide and transportation for Angkor Wat sunrise the next morning and offered me all the suggestions a person could ever desire for ways to spend my as-of-yet-unplanned days in town! She was so helpful from the very first minute to the moment of my final departure. The absolute kindness and truly five star service of FCC’s team became apparently when I unfortunately broke my foot one evening. While no one wishes an injury like this during travel, I have come out of the experience grateful beyond belief that FCC Angkor was my home during these first stressful days - I could not have been luckier. From the moment I came to the hotel until the day I checked out, every single need was attended to with a level of compassion and hospitality I thought might be extinct. Ice, pillows, transport to the hospital and back, breakfast delivered to the room, assistance with crossing the road or finding a car/tuktuk whenever I needed one - all of it was made easy and immediately handled by the sweet staff. The pool, breakfast, and facilities are absolutely gorgeous and incredible. The bedding was so comfortable and the rooms so peaceful and quiet, I was able to rest at any moment. The Apsara Dance event on Friday evenings is not to be missed! The breakfast each day was truly divine, and every cocktail I tasted was more remarkable than the last. The live music I enjoyed on the patio bar was so beautiful, I am transported remembering it even now. I will be loyal to FCC Angkor on all future visits to Siem Reap, and if you are considering booking - rest assured, you soon will be, too. Enjoy your stay!

Very beautiful hotel in the center of Siem Reap, most likely one of the most beautiful ones that I have stayed in. Gorgeous grounds, a lot of attention to detail everywhere. Staff was very friendly and professional when we had an issue with a room and very accomodatin when on the day we were leaving. Location is great, just a 10 min stroll down the river to downtown, but very quiet. The bar is very nice, drinks are excellent. Breakfast was good, but not great.

Food at the bar area was underwhelming, especially given the price level.

Hotel is in a beautiful setting it looks like a tropical garden with a pool. The rooms were comfy and well appointed, bathroom was spacious with large walk in shower. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of options. Staff were really friendly and helpful. When I had some requests they were speedily actioned.. nice touches like chocolate delivered to your room in the evening was appreciated. This is one of the more expensive options to stay in SR but think the quality and location make it worthwhile.

Beautiful hotel in a blend of colonial French and Cambodia style Bed was so comfortable and room was beautiful The staff were the stand out, so kind and helpful and easy to talk to. The staff at breakfast were lovely to chat to every morning, we loved the breakfast menu and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Neat on reception couldn’t do enough for us, she was great!

The excellent service we received from all of the staff at the hotel and particularly from the hotel driver who picked us up at Siem Reap airport. He also went out of his way to help us sort out an unexpected issue with the American dollars we were carrying and to sort out our onward journey to Sihanoukville, Koh Rong and then Phnom Penh.

We had to cut short our stay by 1 night as, at short notice, our onward flight to Sihanoukville was cancelled. We could not change the rest of our trip so had to book a night sleeper bus instead. We were initially advised that we would still have to pay for the third night we had booked but, having questioned this, we were offered a 50% reduction on the room rate. This is what we then paid but still felt that the flight cancellation was totally outside our control and, whilst the hotel cancellation policy was clear when we booked, the circumstances could in our view have justified it being fully waived.

I cannot fault this place. I had been before just to enjoy their balcony bar and have a drink remember being so impressed with its charm, history and atmosphere. The staff are fabulous, as always in Cambodia - so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have two super pools, plenty of sun loungers, fantastic breakfast and lunch and we took full advantage of Spa. Great location just 5 min walk to Pub Street / night market. We were very sad to leave and hope one day to be back.
