The rooms were quite big and also the bed size was comfortable for a family of 3 to 4 (with kids). One of the most amazing pool and pool area. Very comfortable stay. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Special mention to their restaurant that served some amazing and delicious food. Especially the fried noodles at the breakfast buffet. A big spread of Buffet breakfast. The rustic charm of a heritage property with complete wooden decor and beautiful garden around the property actually was very relaxing. Though it is an old property, cleanliness was maintained everywhere. Room was very clean not even a speck of dirt found and I did not see even a cobweb anywhere around the property.

Internet access in our room was very bad and almost not usable. The team couldn’t fix it even after couple of complaints from our end. However, the problem seemed to be only around our room. The pool table requires replacement or refurbishing. While the surface seemed fast and even, the table is broken and chances of getting hurt because of splinter.

Proper hotel with a large pool and gym. Very nice property. We had a big, lovely room on the ground floor, with a four-poster bed. On the last night we asked to switch rooms as it was new years eve and I was sick, so wanted to rest. They kindly moved us to another room. Great breakfast.

While the property is great, it does seem to be on the older side and seems to have had its heyday back in the day. The rooms could use an updrage, including with more charging points (could not charge our phones next to our beds) and just a bit of a revamp to keep it up-to-date, including in terms of aesthetics (without losing its personality) and functionality.

Due to dwindling tourism, all hotels and tourism business in Siem Reap are suffering. This old gem may look past it's prime, but it is one of the few good hotels left standing in the aftermath of Chinese boom and bust tourism trap. Top notch hotel cleanliness. Not even a speck of dust. Hotel is operating at half capacity so some areas may be void of air-conditioning or lack lighting. Otherwise rooms are comfy and clean. Friendly staff.

- staff welcoming and warming, - the swimming pool (except the music, over and over the same in a loop), - decoration of lobby and room, - size of the room

- breakfast ; not many options (eggs, rice and soup), - central AC : when someone smoke in his room we smell it through the ventilation (lived). By the way, cigarette in the room is becoming a big problem in asia since a few years, particularly from people coming from a country….

The staff made this hotel one of the reception staff went above and beyond for us (we didn’t write down her full name but it had “sun” in it) she saw my friend and I looking at brochures and immediately came round sat with us asked us what we were looking for made excellent recommendations for tours and then organised them for us even late at night for next day. She was honestly wonderful. The hotel also organised an excellent driver for us Pintin who took us around the Big tour loop and Banteay Srei, he pointed out loads of the local sites and never rushed us around.

The shower in the room really needed to be replaced as half the spray jets were blocked.

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. The lobby is gorgeous and the pool is fabulous! I loved my balcony in my room and sat out there every evening. Location is good, not too far from Pub Street.

My bed was too hard and it made my hips hurt. I know harder beds appeal to people from some countries, but it would be great to have an option for soft beds in some of the rooms, or maybe offer a mattress topper on request. Otherwise everything was great and I really enjoyed my stay.

Room was lovely and quiet. A little dated but it is so central that I don't think it matters. Comfy bed, good towels and bedding, clean. More power points than other hotels I have stayed in, so easily able to charge gadgets. Staff very kind and helpful. Happy to help with bookings, transport, etc. They organised my car to the airport. Massage was not expensive and very good - Khmer Traditional Massage. Cocktails are good and not expensive. I always appreciate a hotel that makes omelettes to order in the morning.

It is now the off season, so not many people staying, so not much atmosphere to the place. But I enjoyed it.

everything was 1st class from arriving and checking in, all the staff make you feel very welcome , always smiling always very polite, and willing to go that extra step to make your stay a great one. Also the location was fantastic for me, only a 10 minute straight line walk , to the main strip of pub street and cheers street. Must say a big thank you to the young man who worked on the pool bar, had many long enjoyable conversations with, while having a long cool drink, and food before leaving for the night life..

Having to leave and come home

I stayed at this hotel on my previous visit to Siem Reap in 2013 and really loved it! It was livelier then because the lobby was full of guests and featured a young lady in traditional costume playing a Cambodian Xylophone. The property closed during the lockdown and reopened only in April 2023. It has very few employees and guests now, so there is a perceptible drop in the general vibe and energy. But the team is still top notch at what they do, and show admirable warmth and kindess to all guests. The rooms are generous in size with beautiful wooden floors. There is a bathtub and separate walk-in shower in the bathroom. The centerpiece of the property is its beautiful pool (the jacuzzi no longer works now - I hope they get it up and running again soon). I had a fantastic oil massage in the spa. The breakfast buffet is good now but should get better soon. The hotel arranged our temple tour and airport transfers and also has a cooking class, which we were not able to take due to time constraint. Near the hotel is the (small-ish) Made in Cambodia Market and the superb Cafe Indochine. Pub Street is about 800 meters or a short tuktuk ride. I would stay at this property again on my next visit to Siem Reap.

Because of the garden setting, we encountered a few mosquitos on certain nights inside our room and on the balcony. Maybe a mosquito repellant would be a good idea to offer guests.

It is a big hotel with nice rooms. The breakfast was good with an egg and noodle soup station. Breakfast choice was good. The pool is big and warmer than average. The courtyard was big and had a bit of a jungle feeling. We took the local cuisine cooking class and it was well organized with a lot of people taking care of us for the private cooking which was not that expensive. They also helped us organize a taxi transfer to Kampot.

There were so little customers and that felt a bit in the service. Especially at the poolside bar. A single drink took ages and the staff didn't know much about what they had on the menu.
