Because we travel for fun roughly a third of every year (being retired), we rarely stay in such luxurious places. But if you EVER want to stay in a SUPERB and TRULY BEAUTIFUL luxury hotel somewhere in the world, this is the place to do it. The stunning artistry of Bill Bensley, a famous architect and designer, immerses guests in a fascinating and highly fulfilling aesthetic experience. We were enthralled, and took scores of photos. We booked two nights, stayed for five, and wished it could have been seven. We started in a larger premium room with several art objects and very fine design in the newer, Angkor wing, which offers a gorgeous “zenny” hangout experience by its lap pool, and seems to have even better aesthetics than the main Bayon wing across the street. Because I swim 2 kilometers every day, we then moved to a standard room in the Bayon wing, for its proximity to its wide, 25 meter pool. Both wings have restaurants, but with group business focussed on the Bayon wing, we breakfasted every day and had two fabulous and truly gourmet Cambodian dinners in the Angkor wing’s wonderful Kroya restaurant. Staff was friendly, resourceful, clearly well trained, and helpful with references to an excellent and inexpensive company for local and distant tours. The Shinta Mani is one of our very favorite hotels in the world.

Amazing design and vibe. Learned something about the world of hotels and how much it matters. The cooking class was top! The staff beyond helpful, always genuinely trying to make our visit even better than it was... you can just tell if someone is fake/ nice or treats you with warmth, and it matters when you travel with a child! The food was unbelievable, we did not even try the special sets at Kroya, but we has the included lunch/ dinner and breakfast, we tried either Asian or Western and were blown away. The room was great, comfy beds, thermostat worked, balcony was top, the pools were both great. We had our fill with temples on this trip and will probablywait a few good years before returning, , but if we go back soon it will also be because of this hotel!

We stayed at Shinta Mani for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The villas are stunning—beautifully designed, private, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect romantic getaway. A special thanks to our butler, Neand, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and patient throughout our stay. He truly made our experience feel seamless and special. I would definitely recommend Shinta Mani to anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful retreat. The only small downside was the mini bar. For the price of the stay, we expected it to be fully restocked daily, including the beers. It would also be nice to have a few salty snacks included. That said, everything else was amazing, and we’ll cherish the memories we made here!

Our stay at Shinta Mani Angkor was just perfect. We were a group of persons and we booked 2 Superior rooms and one Pool-Villa. What we didn’t know: for the Pool-Villa, daily laundryservice was included along with a butlerservice. Overall, the equipment, especially of the pool-villa (beautiful outdoor shower and bath), was just perfect. Mr Son, our Butler was ready any time to assist us with everything we needed! A further highlight of the hotel is the restaurant, providing traditional Khmer food, including alternatives for vegetarians. I would come back to this hotel any time :)

The interiors were pretty as was the artwork put up. The best part about the hotel is the wonderful staff especially the manager Ratnak, who helped organise so many things to make our trip easier and another staff Goddon San who drove us to Kulen mountains and was so friendly, helpful and kind. It’s the people who work there that are the highlight of the hotel.

The layout of the room we were in was a bit off. The bathroom was massive but the space in the bedroom was quite small. The location of the aircon in the room was also bizarre as it was inside the walk-in closet space and it could get quite hot in the night even with the lowest temperature

A warm welcome awaited and we immediately felt at home. The pool villa was just simply stunning. Attention to detail in every aspect and the little extras really showed how first class this hotel is. The bed was cloud like, divine and we could not have been happier. Breakfast was delicious. Our Bentley Butler Grace is deserved of a very special mention. Warm, professional, helpful and became a much treasured friend. I hope we keep in touch. Her loyalty and praise of her employees shows a truly dedicated member of the team. We also spoke with Chanra, one of the management team and she was lovely too. The staff at this hotel really do go the extra mile and you can see the pleasure they find in their roles. I can’t recommend a visit enough!

Staff were exceptional! In particular Daly, Mien and Sophie!! Thank you! :-) Hotel had a great design concept that was well thought out with great pools / chill out areas. Was a peaceful setting and beds were really comfortable. Loved the Bensley bar. Food was great in all restaurants, good tapas options in the bar.

Nothing. I used the gym which is a bit small but it had everything you needed for a decent workout.

Everything.. staff were super polite, friendly & helpfull. Rooms were great size and clean.

We stayed 8 days and they didn’t change the bed linen once, even when asked too. There was two shower heads, the rainwater head was a great height but the firmer head was down near waist height, so pretty pointless. Pool water felt like a warm bath, wasn’t refreshing in the warm days

The most precious element of the hotel is definitely the friendly staff. An outstanding example was Ms.Ratanak working on the front desk who already informed me ahead of our arrival of the travel details of our planned trip.

The cost-benefit ratio of some services such as private car tours including driver and English speaking guide from the hotel which costs $ 135 for 4 hrs. The cost-benefit ratio of the airport pick-up and returnal for $ 85 one way. And last but not least the New Years dinner buffet per person for $ 150. Besides costs, the noise during New Years festivities at the hotel and in the neighbourhood. In terms of sports, the hotel informs about an in-house gym but this is nothing more than 4 sports devices and a few weights and more than 3 people do not fit into the room at the same time.

The staff were very warm, welcoming, and super helpful. The location is perfect. We were upgraded to a pool villa which came not only with a pool but also a rooftop terrace. We booked a tuk tuk for the small circuit and a car for the big circuit through the hotel. Both vehicles were clean and very comfortable, and drivers were friendly and made us feel safe. The cold water and towels were very much appreciated after a hot day of touring the temples.
