we had a private room in this hostel and it was really spacious with comfy beds. The door handle didn’t work properly and when we told the staff they got someone to come fix it immediately which was great. The option for a free Tuktuk from the bus station is a really kind gesture.

They only accept passport deposit for scooter hire so we hired somewhere else that takes cash deposit instead. It would be good if they made that an option as most sensible people don’t want to leave their passport (it’s illegal in our country to give your passport as a deposit). A water fill machine would be good to reduce plastic waste

Got a private room, which came with a bath tub, the room was spacious for a single person. They had a free wi-fi. The place also had a restaurant & bar and the pricing was ok. The provide scooters on rent which is a good thing and for deposit they ask for your passport. They also arrange tours to angkor wat and other places. The place is walking distance from the CDF Duty free shop in case one plans to take shuttle bus to the airport which cost only 8 $ The staff is nice and helpful but that does not goes for everyone but yes most of them

The lighting in the room did not exactly light up the whole room. The shower tap was antique and would come off easily. There was a TV but not plugged in. Overall the experience has been good.

I been here for three nights everything was great. Staff is very friendly , good foods, the room was clean and cool enough for the aircon. Swimming pool is good for relaxing after tied from the tour. The hostel also arrange the tour to Angkor and the floating village as well. The staff were amazing. The restaurant was good value for money; most foods were good, pricing was absolutely reasonable. Room was reasonably sized, beds were nice. Check-out especially was swift and unproblematic, attentiveness in the restaurant/bar was good. We were generally happy, criticism sounds more serious than it actually was.

The room was advertised with a bath tub. But without a plug, and with water pressure that could have never filled said tub, that was not great. The AC could not be controlled, but it got reasonably cold after being on for a few hours. Visit was during New Year and the city was flooded, so maybe that is why, but the WiFi was really poor.

I had an amazing stay at Siem Reap Chilled Backpacker! The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly kind, polite, and always eager to help. My room was perfect—comfortable, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The air conditioning was excellent, the shower worked perfectly, and the overall cleanliness of the place was impressive. Its location was simply ideal, offering easy access to all the main attractions in Siem Reap. I highly recommend Siem Reap Chilled Backpacker to anyone visiting this beautiful city. It’s a fantastic place with great value and a warm, welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely return on my next trip!

The name of this hostel says it all. This is the place for backpackers who are chilled not high octane. What I mean is that the guests here are relaxed enjoying themselves but are not rowdy or rude. My room had everything as advertised a large wardrobe ensuite bathroom Desk chair TV and a large bed. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was effective and I had a nice view of the pool. The staff were helpful and friendly. There are plenty of tours and other resources available. You will be sent information following your booking but everything is also listed in the foyer of the hostel The swimming pool was lovely and the bar and restaurant on site had good priced food. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby and several convenience stores nearby also where you can buy snacks, water and other items. In terms of the location I’m not sure if any particular place is better or worse because most of the places that you will visit you will need to travel to with some type of transportation . However, it is a couple of streets back from the river, which makes for a lovely early morning or evening walk. I arranged my Driver in advance to pick me up from the airport. Take me to the various temples over the three days and then return me to the airport on my last day and I think this worked out really well.

One thing that people might not like is that the shower is over the bath tub and if you have any difficulties climbing in and out of the bath, you may not like this. But this was no trouble for me so there was nothing I didn’t like about this hostel.

Perfect place to stay. Nice dorms with lockers, a great happy hour, and excellent food, pool is also great.. Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Sinorn, She did show me the good attractions to do in Siem Reap they make booking tours to Angkor Wat and other attractions very easy as well as arranging cheap airport transportation. Would highly recommend staying here!

I had a fantastic experience staying at this backpacker hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, assisting with tour bookings and offering great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The on-site restaurant and bar were great for both food and drinks, and the atmosphere was lively and social. I especially enjoyed the free pool table, which made it easy to meet and connect with other travelers. The swimming pool was a huge bonus, and there was even a volleyball net set up for games in the water—lots of fun! Highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and fun place to stay.

I was in a private dormitory, which to be honest you get what you pay for for, bed very comfortable, aircon working nicely. The reception team was also very helpful and easy to speak to. The bar downstairs is a good place to work from your laptop and also have nice food. Location is also very handy there is always Tuk tuks at the door even at night.

I was on the Third floor and the wifi there was not the best, I had to use my phone most of the time, also there is no shower curtain and being a woman a shower curtain will be appreciated in the bathroom since wash your hair can be very tricky.

We stayed in a private room, which was really good! The beds were so comfortable and also clean, the AC worked without problems and we had a lot of space. They also have a really nice pool and a pool table with a bar and a seating area which was really nice. The staff was also really helpful and nice every time we needed something. The location was good and you're able to book a motorbike directly through the hostel which was very convenient.

The shower/bathtub was broken, there were holes in the bathtub floor and it didn't feel safe standing in there to shower.
