We've stayed at this hotel before, and we really like the large, spacious rooms. The hotel is conveniently located for our activities in the city, with quick access to Deerfoot Trail. The reception counter service always seems very friendly and helpful.

The ground floor access to the elevators is rather cramped and not very obvious, via a narrow corridor. Our room's bathroom could use a bit more in the way of shelves. Though the free breakfast offered is quite good, the variety of choices and the breakfast room layout didn't quite match the excellence of the free breakfasts we've enjoyed at some other Best Western hotels.

Service Plus Inns was quite far out from Calgary but it meant it was quiet but all necessary facilities (cafe, restaurant, etc) were situated close by and there was a microwave if you felt like doing your own snack. Parking was available, which was great.

Breakfast was self service (which was not an issue) but got very busy and food and cutlery got consumed very fast and staff could not keep up with the demand sometimes.

The front desk staff, the first impression anyone receives of a hotel/motel, was smiling, friendly and always looked up when I went through the lobby to say hello with a smile. The first time I stayed and the second time I stayed, this was true. The rooms and the hotel are very clean. This is very important. The cafeteria staff need to smile a bit more. This is a room that starts off the guests day. Former employee of many 5 star hotels in Toronto and Edmonton. My family was instrumental in bringing front desk Concierge feature to Canada and the U.S. Gene Goldring

Super friendly staff. Wednesday night there was a business meet and greet. With free beer and appies. The sales manager was out there and she caught me off guard at first but she made me feel welcome and she was awkward or dude. Over all was a great experience

Read this whole thing before you make a judgement. I was a fan of the out of house swim lessons as it meant the pool area had lots of kids in it when I was hoping to have a hot tub. However. It ain't about me me me. I understand why they do it and I hope the kids had a blast

The staff were great, particularly reception and the guest services manager. Friendly and helpful. We booked a two-room suite so the kids had a separate room. The room was large, clean and quiet. Hot breakfast was good. The staff worked hard to keep the hot food re-filled. It got busy at the weekend. The pool is small, perfect for the kids using the slide but not big enough for a swim. The hot tub was nice. Location: Calgary is very spread out so it didn't matter where we stayed, we would have to drive to the places we wanted to go.

The hotel was nice and clean, it was quiet even though they were getting ready for the Stampede. We loved the hot tub and the water slide.

The hot tub was turned off before due to the water shortage. When we arrived, a friendly staff member at the front desk told us that it was just turned back on and the water should be warm enough by the evening, and he also gave us the green light to use it. Then we needed something from the front desk later, and another staff member pretty bluntly told us not to use the hot tub. So it was a bit confusing, and made us a bit anxious to hop in (we did end up using it and it was pretty neat)

The staff were excellent overall and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay, especially the kids. The room was very spacious and clean. It was a fabulous value for the money, and we would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was pretty crowded and, although workers constantly restocked, they still ran out of some things (like butter and plates). Again, staff were fabulous, but they need to check their ordering process and possibly open a space for more seating.

Daily HOT buffet breakfast that was included with our rooms.

We stayed 4 days over a weekend and it seems so did every junior sports team in the area. Parents did not control their children to a satisfactory level and allowed them to play with balls and run up and down the hallways. Front desk had to be called several times on children and their parents who were equally distruptive.

Was close to Spruce Meadows

You forgot to your remind your guests by email that your cutoff time for breakfast on Mondays is 9:00. We were there for the weekend and had breakfasts till 10:00. Arrived this 9:00am and your breakfast was over. Would have appreciated a reminder. Also, when I took my granddaughter for a swim at 9:00pm on Friday, Sat and Sun there were many unsupervised teenage boys going down the slide and making Huge waves by going down “ 2 by 2” . This was very unsafe for smaller children.

The Hotel itself is exceptional! The staff the night we checked in was very helpful and understanding as we encountered a problem before the check in date. After explaining of what happen, the staff made an action about it and she did her very best to settle it.

Not really didn't like but with the rules that the dining staff and the hotel itself is not aligning. Dining staff told us that we can't bring our left over to our room, when my children literally saw other people bringing their food to their room. Then when I asked about that issue from the reception, they don't have idea what the rule was. Next day, during breakfast, one dining employee took out the vaccum and started vaccuming the floor where there are crumbs of bread or egg? Not sure. My point is, I don't think that is a good idea to vacuum the floor while there are people eating in the dining room. The pool was cold but my children still enjoyed it.
