beautiful large guest home. hand crafted by owners for their personal use and converted to BnB several years ago. kind and conscientious hostess (Kim)

we were in smallest bedroom on a last minute booking. comfortable full sized bed was great for us but too small for many couples.

The location met our needs perfectly. We wanted to be away from the city in a neighborhood setting. Westmount River Inn is just that. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We were within a short walking distance of several restaurants and highly recommend The Lodge for lunch or dinner. We had the room with the balcony overlooking the river which was clean and very comfortable.

There was a gas fireplace in the room and we were looking forward to using it. However, there were no instructions to turn it on. We texted the 24 hour on call number to ask for instructions and did not receive a response. We finally found the control panel but the unit appeared to be nonfunctional. Please either state in the listing that the fireplace doesn’t work or provide instructions how to use it. Also, the only utensil in the kitchenette was a single spoon.

The owners / staff were exceptionally accommodating. I arrived more than 2 hours before check-in time, but they shifted my room to a king room from the queen room I had booked, with no change in price. The Inn is a converted house, and the room was in the basement, but it was still very comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom had also been newly renovated. The breakfast was a little different in being a prepared plate left in the fridge, but was still very tasty (2 boiled eggs, yogurt, and a large cake-like roll). It is clear that the owners try to make their guests as comfortable as possible.

The host was amazing! Kim was very personal and made sure we had everything we needed. Even offered to make us breakfast (specifically omelettes) but we had to get going back home and didn’t have time. She still had yogurt, pastries, cheese, fruit, and snacks out for us so we helped ourselves to those. Everything was as great as we had hoped for!

The only thing is that we couldn’t watch anything on the tv other than satellite tv because the telus box had to be updated. Other than it was good!

First of all I really like the house. It looks already from outside very inviting. Kim the manager knows how to let guests feel welcome. My room was nicely prepared. Very clean. There is air conditioning which is comfortable in the summer and a fireplace for a cozy evening when the temperature gets colder. Spacious bad room with a huge bad tub and an extra shower as well. I could have stayed a week! Breakfast was yummy with fresh fruit. I would go back anytime. Kim is very nice and warm person

It is an amazing house with the kind hostess Kim that will take care of you from the first minute. She showed me everything in the house and the room. The place was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. All details were made for a guest’s comfort. Kim even woke up at 3 am to see me off because I was heading to the airport and offered me breakfast.

Everything was amazing. They exceeded my expectations in every single way! The style of the house, the bed, the bathroom and the bathtub, everything was incredible. Note: the paintings are truly amazing and museum-worthy!

Maybe a check out until 11:30 could be a huge plus to the property. But it’s truly not a big deal.

The property was amazing and has a unique and luxurious interior like nowhere else. Bed and bathroom were comfortable and exceptionally clean. Definitely recommend. Hosts were friendly, proactive and welcoming. We were very close to cafes, restaurants, banks and city centre. Will come back!

Worth the splurge to upgrade to the luxury king - that room looked incredible, photos posted online.

This property was exceptional clean , curb appeal ☑️ jacuzzi tub was fabulous, and the shower spectacular you can tell this place is well taken care of, Bed was awesome very comfortable and clean. Our host was the sweetest lady thank you again for allowing us to stay at this beautiful place we will be back sometime.

Convenient city center location and access. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Room was large and well appointed with a fireplace, soaking tub. Bed was comfortable.

AC did not cool our room - weather was exceptionally hot the 2 days we were there. Our hosts brought us 2 fans to help us sleep.
