Huge split level apartment with full kitchen and two bathrooms and wash and dryer. Balcony in the main room. Good location for walking into town and by the river. Friendly Reception staff.

It is on two levels both requiring stairs to access from the front door so not remotely suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or small children. Bed linen in the twin room not really big enough for the beds and didn’t tuck him. Duvets or two blankets rather than one folded blanket would be better. Mattresses don’t fit the bases well with sharp bits sticking out. Complicated oven with no instructions but perhaps it would’ve been familiar to a North American guest.

The property was very clean! Fresh towels were available, clean dishes and bedding, everything was fresh! The pool area was clean and a nice size area! Parking garage was also clean, not had to park, tight spots but most parking garages are. I will definitely be staying here again!

No fault to the lodge or employees at all, but the only complaint I have is that people above us were extremely loud till 3am the last night we were there. Front desk was helpful in solving the problem so our family could sleep!

Staff were awesome, the setup in the condo was perfect for us (two adults but not a couple) with our own rooms, plus our own washroom, the pool was warm and well looked after. Was exceptionally happy given the price point, wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Plus they actually had good coffee from a local brewer, we went over to purchase a larger bag on the way out of town. The town of Canmore itself was amazing, so many great places to eat and shop.

My only critique was the unit was not air-conditioned and I don't feel like that was explained in the listing. Apparently some are and the staff looked for another unit for us but we were already settled and didn't feel like moving.

Everything about this place was perfect, in fact, both my partner and myself wanted to permanently stay there. The location was perfect as well. We were able to cook there ( my partner loves to make meals) as the kitchen was well-stocked. There were even some children’s cups which was very thoughtful. The bedroom was very comfortable and the washer/dryer was an added plus.

Beds were hard. Walls in room were scuffed up. Dishwasher did not shut off and leaked. No close garbage disposal other than a hike through the parkade. At 10:45 am, ahead of check-out, we were rushed by the cleaning team as they attempted to enter our suite. We were on track for the 11:00 am departure and just needed to finish a few quick things, and didn't think we were an inconvenience (but we felt we were...)

Spacious, rustic, beautiful balcony view, charming area.

The only thing I would notice is that the property, at least our unit, was a little bit dated. There were little things around the cabin that weren’t quite working properly or were a little beat up. The barbecue is certainly look like it had seen better days. But that didn’t attract from our enjoyment at staying there. It just needs a little TLC I think.

Convenient location, clean, underground free parking was nice, hot tub was enjoyable. Condo was quiet.

The condo could use some updating. The ceiling fan could not be used due to most of the fan blade screws were missing. I was not aware that the entrance to the condo was on one level that you immediately had to go downstairs for kitchen and living area or upstairs for a small loft bedroom.

Lodges at Canmore is a hotel/apartment complex that is situated on a nice peaceful location few hundred meters away from city center. It has gym, outdoor pool, hot tub, free parking... Nice stay, would recommend.

One of the 4 beds was broken but luckily we were only 3. But I am sure that they would arrange something in the hotel if I had informed them.

Location and value

The pre-check in communication was very limited. The property actually has a fully functional and helpful front desk on site. But that’s never communicated to us at any point. Because it’s listed as a condo/lodge, we were waiting and waiting for check-in instructions but never heard anything. Also there are some requirements for check-in, which are very standard but it’d be nice if that’s communicated ahead so that guests can arrive prepared.

Great location, walking distance to Canmore centre. The pool and hot tub were awesome for relaxing in the sun. Parking was a bonus. Our condo was very big and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a small issue with cleaning, but the manager handled it really well. Thanks again.
